Wonderful news that she is now eating, I have been following Holly's progress and must say I feel so terribly bad for both of you.  You are giving her the best care possible, so hopefully now that she is eating, she will begin to feel much better, which in turn will make you feel much better.

Hugs to you and healing vibes to Holly....god bless!

Any chance you have a Holistic vet close you could see?

When Nena had liver issues our regular vet tried different meds and I was not comfortable with all of that and she was no better. So thankfully we have a holistic vet close and he was so helpful. They take a completely different approach and within a month she was back to normal. I will continue to see him whenever they have something wrong he recommends supplements or Chinese herbs that really work great.

They also do acupuncture, etc all natural things to help.

Hope your little one is better soon. It is so hard to see them sick.

Yes,Holly is eating again and particularly gravy bone biscuits. Unfortunately, she is still having episodes of diarrhoea. But she is a bit brighter than she was.

Once again, my best advice for runny bowel movements in dogs is Forti Flora.  Works fast everytime for us.

I just checked and Tysolin is available in the UK, so that is good. If only the diarrhea would stop, she could get her appetite back.  Hugs & prayers.

It's amazing in my experience, no side effects, and recommended and given by our vet. Always stopped stubborn diahrea with our dogs.

Well she seems to have an appetite again, she had breakfast of some Narurediet a a few bits of kibble, and now she has had morxe kibble and less Naturediet (a tray type food) and has had a few biscuits during the day. She had a couple of episodes of less watery diarrhoea this morning so will see how we go this evening.

She has also insistsd on wandering round the garden off lead, having sat down each time I have taken her out on it as per instructions, so she is obviously getting back to her cairnishness! And lying on sofa next to me she has started to growl at passersby once more which means have to stop her jumping off!! Her walking is a litrle better each day.

Oh Josie, I am so happy!  All wonderful signs.  Soon your little gal will be back to her full Cairnness. :)

Great news, Josie!  It must lessen the strain on you, seeing some improvement in Holly.  Still sending those prayers for a full recovery.
