For those who didn't get on the card list this year, I'm one of the late ones still addressing envelopes today. PM or email me if you'd like a card.

Hey, I also have left over cards.... so if you missed the list, PM or email me, too and I will send one out to you.

Sheila and Misty, I love what you did with the photos.... You certainly look all decked out for Christmas. Nice Job.

Thanks for the compliments on our fireplace. Bailey loves the fireplace and she will belly up to it and actually watch the fire for quite a while. Makes we wonder what she's thinking. But, wouldn't we all love to know what our cairns are thinking? :)

Dori hates our fireplace, she goes to the other end of the house to the bedroom when we have it going....we have killer fires though, so maybe if it wasnt so big she wouldnt be afraid of it. Dunno. we'll try it again when we get back home...man it looks icky back there! grrrrr!

My mom came over today and saw all the Cairn cards. She was amazed at how many I have. She wanted to know how I got them. I told her Archie has a bunch of friends that keep sending Christmas cards. ;)

And I know a few of you would know my pain with this little story. Today, I washed Archie up, bathed him, brushed him, clipped his toenails, filed them, cleaned his ears. Ya know, really spiffed him up. Then I had to do what I'm sure all dog owners hate doing after such a task; let him out to use the bathroom. Everything was fine, he was walking around, sniffing the air as usual. Nothing new. Then all of a sudden he gets a crazy fit and is running like mad. Runs around in circles and then dives in the sandy dirt. I was heartbroken. He wasn't sad, he loved it and the more I fussed, the more circles he would do and run through it again. :( So, finally I told him to get inside and he knew he was in trouble, tail tight between back legs he got in the punish corner cage. Then I felt bad after about 5 minutes and let him out. :)

Our cards are going out tomorrow! Better late than never!

I found a holder at pottery barn and just hung it today. I will take a picture and post tomorrow.

Lily, Grace, Molly & Lynn

P.S. The girls "helped" me... so you my have a few kisses or paw prints on the envelopes! Can't do anything without them on my lap!

Our cards are 1/2 going out tomorrow 1/2 Tuesday. Sorry for being so late - I've had nothing but problems. I printed with Snapfish but then picked them up at Walgreens. They really messed up the pictures and they were either covered with a red streak or have a red side border like a pen expoded. Went back to Walgreens to complain-> They printed them up again. Same problem. So I had to go to another store. Anyway, now that the majority of the pictures are okay. They didn't give me enough envelopes. (I had an order of 80) I gave up and decide to just go to staples for the envelopes. They only had the larger "greeting card" ones. Well - After stamping them up - Turns out these require more postage so back to the drawing board. :crybaby:

Anyway - Sorry guys. I am back out to <Name office store here> tomorrow to get more envelopes.

Also - For the international ones - Are they special stamps or just more postage?

Thanks,

Chrissy (& Cody)

Here are our Cards. Right next to the front door so everyone can see them when they come in.

(PS - We are remodeling the front entrance and refinishing the floor. Please excuse the wood putty and floor mess)

My cards went out today! I couldn't decide on a card or a picture so I bought three different boxes of cards and developed three different pictures!

I mixed it up a bit!

Happy Holidays,

Lynn

Gosh, I'm embarrassed for being one of the last mailing mine out. Some went today and the rest will go tomorrow and Wed. Maybe next year I'll start in Oct. and I might have them out sooner.

Don't worry, I'll probably be the last because my computer at home crashed  I'll be rebuilding it tonight and hopefully will have all the cards out over the weekend.

I want to thank everyone again for participating in the card exchange... and thank Liz for organizing. We've had a steady stream of cards the past few weeks, which has made checking the mail a lot more fun than it usually is!

I never did find a creative way to display, so I just put them up on the wall and mantel (and even slapped some into the picture frame):

Kramer does not bother them. I have another door with family and friends cards and he dont bother them either.

He is such a good boy he is not destructive at all and never was. I always say is he really a cairn terrier :confused1:

So different than my Missy she would shredd a card to pieces off that door. I tell Kramer I'm the luckiest ot have gotten him, he is just so loveable and a good natured boy.

I like the cards on the mantel. I think you could put Cairn cards anywhere and it looks good ,after all how can a Cairn card not make something look good. My door never looked so good with all the Cairn cards. :)

Today was SO depressing. Only regular cards, no Cairn Christmas cards! I've shown Brody each card we get in an attempt to shame him into posing for for a picture, but no dice. Hence, our card featured only Mia.
