Christmas Card Exchange 2007

Ours are going out tomorrow. We got four today.

Kosa family....my husband did a double take looking at yours, Bailey looks identical to Digger in that pose. Also, my Diggy loves the fireplace as much as I do. It just seemed so appropriate.

Liz, how do you get Jamie to pose so well already. She is so young!

This is such great fun!

Bailey loves loves loves the fireplace..... She cracks me up when she kneels in front of it and I had to get a picture! My sister said I now take more pictures of our dog than of my kids. (can you believe that?) But, I explained, I will get a card out with a picture of my kids as soon as they pose as nicely as the dog. I mean really, pictures of family are just soooo over rated. LOL

Thank you for all the nice comments about Bailey's picture. We're glad you are enjoying them... I will admit that finding a cairn card in our mailbox is surely a bright spot in our day. Can't wait to get more.

Oh and Liz, thank you for mentioning Pauline getting a card... I totally forgot to send her one and had to go back in the emails and find her address... I'm sending her one today.

I can say with almost certainty that ours will be the very last card you receive. I'm still working on them, waiting on the return address labels to arrive, etc. But, I'll get them out eventually! My whole family enjoys looking at each card that came that day. All of your dogs are just beautiful! I'm envious of those of you who can get a great posed picture. Terry, your card had me cracking up!

I love my Cairn cards I have received. Now I just need a way to display them all. I am doing a card exchange with my Labrador Retriever forum too so I need a way to display them all proudly.

Mine went out yesterday.

I'm still waiting on my order from Snapfish.... they lost my order and now tell me I have to wait 10 business days before they'll rectify loosing them. So I haven't forgotten about you all - I'm working on getting them. My 10th day of waiting is tomorrow and who knows how long it will take Snapfish after that....

I can't wait to see the card with the outtakes. I was going to do that but my outakes were just three little dogs huddled together like they were being punished! I put them in sweaters...my first mistake, Lily hunches over like we just got done beating her. Then we went outside...my next mistake, so many squirrels no time for pictures! Then I started to lose my patience...another mistake, I told them "all I ask is one time a year my girls sit still for a picture" do you think they would listen?Noooo!

I am amazed at these cards and how well the dogs pose for the pictures. I just love all the cards I have received.

Although we are pretty much "strangers" to each other....this Christmas card exchange has made me feel that this forum is really a "family" and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Don't bet on that!!! I'll be bringing up the tail right with you. I haven't even started to think about X-mas AT ALL! I'm in crunch time at work right now...my last day of classes is Dec 10 and then I have to scramble and write final exams..and then grade them before I can even think of dreaming of sugar plum fairies!!

Coming home after a long day and opening the mailbox to find these beautiful cards is just awesome!!! Brady wouldn't cooperate with the picture taking so I got creative. I can't wait to put mine in the mail. Thank you Liz for putting in all the work to get this organized.

Mollyrocker, I've been admiring your signature image so I was intrigued when I saw the same image on your return address label. I was blown away when I saw the same image on the Christmas card with your signature as the artist. What a talent you have! Beautiful!

I agree... it's been so nice to come home to a mailbox full of fun, adorable, sweet, funny Cairn card when your day at work has gone on too long and has been challenging. All of these sweet faces just make me light up!

I thought I'd have mine out on Tuesday, but it looks like Monday instead. The coloring turned out weird after getting my photo cards done at Walgreens, but I still think they're pretty cute.

Looking forward to checking the mailbox tomorrow!!!!

Thanks! That was a one in a million chance shot my daughter caught of them sitting on the porch, and I have had fun playing with it several times. I got creative in adobe photoshop, and then had them printed online.

I was proud of them too. Thanks!

I am so loving all of our cairn cards too! It is like a family here (as someone else posted) James and I definately feel that way.

Did you do some special effects to this postcard? Shame on me, I was looking at my cards while driving and yours almost made me bump into the guy in front of me.

All of these cards are such a wonderful, special part to the holiday season. I'm still working on getting mine out. My business has really taken off, and my time has been limited. I'm still working on the right picture of my "girls". This forum has the cutest Cairns!
