How in the world did he change colors so drastically? Are you sure you don't dye his fur??? L'Oreal For Puppies!

LOL! I thought that was fairly standard for Cairns to change colors over the years. I know my other Cairn did too, although maybe not as drastically as Murph. After he lost his puppy coat, he was a very light wheaten color, but as he's aged it's just gotten lighter and lighter.

Actually her beard had turned completely white, but then in the last year of her life her beard and a patch of hair on the top of her head started to redden up. She actually looked like she was wearing a red toupee on her head.

Thank you Savannah's Mom! Murphy really is our little calendar girl! And, her brother Trapper is a heartbreaker too. What a fun idea posting these headshots. Each of our pups is a real cutie. Makes me want to get another Cairn!
