Digger finally got off his duff, and got his out today. Our mantle is covered with Cairns, and when friends or family pop by, they just laugh at us. Not a single card yet this year without a cat or dog on it. Mostly all of our forum friends.

It has been great fun, and I look forward to being more proactive next year.

Liz,

thanks again for all the organizing of this card exchange.

It has been so much fun.

PS I :wub: Rebel. I think he could be Grilly's twin.

I've had such a blast opening each of your cards. What a terrific idea! Thank you so much for organizing this, Liz. The pups have gotten way more cards than we have! I have them hanging from a ribbon that's strung across our livingroom window so that everyone sees them when they come into the house. Like Brad said, some of you really impressed the heck out of me with your talent. I'm already planning next year's card picture!

I am missing Henry's card...one of my favorites! I think Cricket stole it, the little thief!

I finally got Currey's x-mas cards made to send to those who are on my card list. I knew I'd be super busy with work, so only requested a few names for this year. Here are two of Currey's successful pictures. Look closely, and you can see that he's wearing a training collar! He will do an extended "sit" or "down" only with the collar on, and I just couldn't get him to sit still for long enough for my poor old camera to shoot!

Thank you all for sending your wonderful cards! I've really enjoyed seeing them all! -Jodi

Bella will still be receiving one from Kiara, Abbey and Hannah too. I copied your picture of Bella and will photo print it to add to my Cairn cards. My cards went out late, but I sent one to everyone on my list, which I think was 29 cards.

I guess I wasn't on everyone's list :( , I've only received 18 cards so far. I have this iron framed sculpture of fish at the entrance to our hallway that I tucked all of the Cairn cards in. I took this last night, so it's kind of dark.

I don't think I was on everyones list either but that is ok. I LOVE the cards that I received so far! They are all awesome! I think I sent out one to everyone (there was 30 cards on my list). If you haven't received a card from Savannah, let me know. I would hate to have skipped someone and left someone out!

I know I feel bad I think I sent out like 10-15 cards - and I know I've gotten way more than I sent out - I think maybe I said 10 names or something.... I'll have to post a picture of the ones I sent of the girls later tonight for all of those of you that I missed. I loved doing the card exchange - it's so nice to see what everyone else's cairns look like and the sweet families they all belong to. And then I have a glimpse as to those who help me everyday with all of my cairn needs and questions :)

FYI the way it works... some ask for all, that was about 16 people who got all the names, then some asked for as 5 some asked for 10, 20 etc. Some asked for only US and so forth so I go down the list and break the list up. I think if everyone sent out the cards you should rec. about 22-23 cards. I can't remember how many times I went thru the list.

I first give all those asking for the entire list

then I start at the top and count down how many the first person wants if that

Now, I feel better - I think I asked for 10 not really knowing how many there were out there that were doing it - it's a bigger Cairn family than I thought! HA! - I'll still post the one I sent of the girls for all of you that I missed - I'll try to reach everyone better next year :)
