Buffy is wise! Haha! Dry, please! Ah, that would be awesome, but seeing you all would be far better than the food! (Plus your flight would be undoubtedly cheaper than sending the care package! :D )

Autumn, there is a lot of really nice English food around! I happen to love fish and chips, and Holly always enjoys a bit of the fish and a small chip! Hate curry though. Can recommend finding a good pub where they do Sunday dinner as a carvery BUT not Toby Inns.

Anyhow, friends of my mine love the OK Diner but you would have to travel down the A1 to Newark see http://www.okdiners.com/.

Or http://m.theamericandiner.wix.com/the-50s-american which is near Derby. However, not sure if either serve what you are looking for!

Oh I love fish and chips as well, but not a big fan of carveries. Thank you for the links. I will check their menus out and see if they might be worth a trip! :)

Gosh you are making me hungry! I guess they don't do the New York deli sandwiches...lol

Noooooo. LOL I'm getting hungry now, too. Lola said she could murder a big pastrami sandwich right now. LOL! I did find decent pickles (pickled cucumbers) last week though! Happy day!

(Disclaimer: I live nowhere near London. London may have a wider selection of foods/ethnic foods/delis/restaurants than in the north.)

Oooooh!  The OK Diner looks good!  Count me with the hungry people.  DH and I are about to go out for dinner tonight and now I'm wishing there was an OK Diner in the area.
