My Precious Riley

I believe in things that can't always be explained - - today I was out riding my bike when I saw a tiny black puppy running towards me and into the path of a car - - without hesitation I positioned myself between the puppy and the car - - driven by an elderly man who surely didn't see the little guy run into the street. The man stopped and the puppy narrowly missed going under the wheel - - the puppy was a Cairn - - its name was "RILEY"!!! Thinking of you always - - my precious one!

And I'll bet your Riley was telling you that you needed to ride your bike today. :halo:

Its Gods winks moment. showing you that all things are in is plan.

We love our little ones so much and they will always have a special place in our hearts. I feel sorry for the people who don't understand how much our pets mean to us.

Ok I have goosebumps..... The chances of this happening are probably a lot harder than winning the mega millions lottery....... Definitely something there...

It's so wonderful that your precious Riley has become a little angel to other dogs. Bless him.

I have been reading your posts on the loss and how much your heart still breaks for your sweet Riley. He was a very special little boy that left you way too soon. No matter what their age, it is always too soon when they leave us. I loved hearing how you saved the little Cairn with your bike, who was also named Riley. Thanks for sharing that.

You loved him dearly. No dog could ask for more.

I was so mentally and physically distraught after we had Lindy put to sleep, that I couldn't function. By the end of the week, I had a lower back pain that felt like a knife was stuck in there. I ended up in the ER, on a morphine IV.  After a cortisone shot in my spine, I feel like I am among the living, again, but a day doesn't go by that I dont think of and miss dear sweet Lindy and yes, it hurts.

Please know that we understand your sorrow and  pain for dear sweet Riley.

Couldn't understand why you were so on my mind today - - haven't forgotten you - - just time passing and making it easier to deal with missing you - - still loving you so much my precious Riley! Happy Birthday - xoxo!

Happy birthday sweet Riley.

Time makes our losses easier to bear, but it doesn't mean we miss our furry friends any less.

I still think of my Jack everyday-he passed at 8 yrs old of seizures.  Last week, I moved a large dresser in our basement. I found a hidden chewie-one of Jack's. It made me cry. I took the chewie and put it in a drawer next to my bed.
