Show us your Santa Picture

Oh my goodness! These are all quite possibly the cutest pictures. Cairn's are just so adorable.

Liz, Sugar looks so well trained. I must admit I'm jealous. Bailey is as alpha male as a dog can get.

Anyway, here's a very poorly taken picture of Bailey in his antlers, which he hates. Our trick was that my fiance held him and I held treats and took the picture.

OMG Scully has such a beautiful color coat! I love the picture, Fiona is a real sweetie and I must say Baliey would make a great elf. That is what the picture reminds me of.

I think what I'd like Santa to leave in my stocking is that cute little Sugar!

Honestly, she could be a poster pup for Cairndom.

Sugar is truly a little star! She could earn big $$$ for mom and dad by puppy posing.

I was really happy to hear compliments on Scully's picture (even though someone had to touch up her eyes to get rid of the green). I showed somebody the picture I posted here at work and they said that Scully looked mean. I felt like crying and felt horrible all day. Geez, I can't say "Smile" and make her do it. As it was I had a treat over my head in one hand and trying to see into the camera and snap it with the other hand.

I think Scully looks like she's gazing at the star at the top of the tree! Or perhaps looking with anticipation as Santa comes down the chimney! Cute!

I think Scully looks nothing but cute! I think it is some jealous person who knows nothing about terriers.

Thanks guys! I guess I take too much to heart - it really bothered me all day. Now look at this face....does this look like a killer dog to you?

Oh my!! With a comment like that, I'd probably haul off and slap them (just kidding)....

But, really, what an awful thing to say. The person that said it was MEAN!! I can't blame you one bit for being hurt.

Now, with that said, Scully is adorable :halo: !!

Scully doesn't look mean! I think that she looks like she smells cookies or bread baking! She is precious. The picture where she is sleeping reminds me of Savannah. She gets in that same position when she is doing some SERIOUS napping. People have made comments about some of Savannah's pictures too and it hurt my feelings so I know how you feel. But I think it is safe to say that everyone here disagrees with them! She is a doll!

You just know, looking at that picture of Scully sleeping, that she's going to wake up with a bad, bad case of "bedhead"! And a sight like that just calls for a giant head "rough up". How could anything that tender seem mean?

I just loved the look on her face in the Christmas shot -- so hopeful, just like a kid!

Oh poor Scully (and Mom), I think it is a great picture. It looks like she just jumped up and laid down for you! All the other pictures are great too, I'm going to try to do something this weekend.

Scully's mom, There's nothing mean looking at all about Scully. She just looks like you got her attention. Her nose knows you have a treat. She looks adorable to me.

Well..........

I just felt compelled to add my thoughts to this. I think it is funny and you can tell scully is concentratin very hard on that treat. It is adorable and cute, and consider that person tactless and thoughtless. ( I have had a bad week too, with this kind of rudeness. I guess it hit a raw nerve for me.) Is there something in the air this week?

Also, I want to say that I think scully's fur is gorgeous too.

Looking "mean" would be the last thing I would say about that picture. She looks adorable....I'd take that picture and blow it up to poster size and bring it to work for all to see.

I take comments about my dogs to heart also. Although my daughter loves all my Cairns, she has been quite outspoken about not liking Madison too much. I find myself acting like a mother hen and sticking up for Maddy when she visits.

My motto is : Love me, love my Cairns.

It's funny but my mom who is not what I'd call an animal lover, has a blast with the dogs when she comes over. She keeps them all under control just by showing them her cane. It's hysterical.

Scully'Mom. Sorry in my earlier post that I called Scully a "he. Must have been a typo

I'm sorry you got hit with a nasty remark as well Abe's Dad. And I agree, what the heck is going on?

Kay, your pups are so well-behaved and gorgeous. Maddy is an absolute doll baby. I can't imagine anyone having anything negative to say about her or ANY of your dogs.

My brother who is an animal lover for some reason keeps calling Scully "you little rat dog." Ticks me off BIG time let me tell you. BTW, a friend of mine did a really great job and fixed the eyes in that Santa picture and it looks even better. So I say....pffftttt....SO THERE!!!! to the person who said Scully looked mean.

Photo sessions are scheduled for this weekend. Only Hannah wanted to get dressed up. Abbey was didn't mind the elf hat, but was afraid of Santa behind her, and Kiara just wasn't in the mood. It's really an art to select the perfect time for a Cairn Photo Shoot. Anyways, here's Hannah posing as an elf, who is not quite sure of that Santa behind her.

Edited to add that Hannah loves her little Christmas shirt so much, she doesn't want me to take it off. She pranced around w/ her shirt and elf ears until I finially grabbed the elf ears off of her. :D
