tlwtheq
I am so happy the cause of Kirby's illness was diagnosed and he's getting the right treatment! I'll never forget that video of Packy and Kirby frolicking in the snow, i.e., the one that the local TV station picked up. Here's hoping there's more frolicking in the offing! (B.t.w., is it time to re-post the video?) 1 Quote Max and Nelly
Autumn & Lola
I'm so glad that Kirby is doing better! Wow - 2lbs lost. Lola says he must eat lots of chicken and hamburgers and treats and regain his strength! My Mandy was on Prednisone. She ate like a little piggy. Popular Post kjwarnold
Kirby had his two-week follow-up this morning and he was great! His electrolytes moved out of the Addison's range although they do indicate that we'll need to reduce his monthly Percorten-V dosage. That was expected though, since the initial dose they give is to get the dog out of crisis. We're also working to reduce the amount of Prednisone he has to take on a daily basis. All in all, Kirb is doing well now that he's been diagnosed. I found an amazing Canine Addison's group on Facebook who have given me lots of info and support. Between their info and the moral support on here, we've had lots of help! Thanks again! 13 Quote Jandy and my Cairns, Kirby & Phinney

LindaMC
Once again I'm late at posting but want to let you know that I'm thrilled to read that Kirby is doing so well. After being so sick and spending time in the hospital, I can only imagine how over the moon you must be that he is back to his normal self. Have a very Merry Christmas, and give Kirby and huge hug from Maisie and me.
tlwtheq
Beautiful Kirby! We're so happy things are turning around. Still trying to figure out what post surgery side effects may be occurring. Olie has been puking up a lot over the last 48 hours. We've tried to be meticulous since the latest surgery...don't know what he may have gotten into. He's not allowed to go up and down stairs; his diet is tightly controlled. We're not doing radiation or chemo. And the hits just keep on comin'... josie&holly
Glad Kirby is doing well. Good that you found a facebook group, I found a couple that helped when Holly was diagnosed with cancer. Quote www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk

Tami
So glad to hear that Kirby is doing better with the new meds. While it's a pain to give a daily shot, it must be such a relief to have him back to his energetic self again. :-) Quote Cheers, Tami
