i understand. you can only "miss" them if their memory, their feel, their presence is still with you. you've got four cairns, it seems. they all know how you feel.

I remember everyone's "anniversary" too.  I even have a small book where I write these dates down.

No one can ever take away the memory you have of your Cairn child.  Bless you and your family.

Sorry to to read the sad loss of Duncan. I certainly know how you feel having lost three cairns and the last one barely making it to ll. Seems like only yesterday I had 2 cairns following me around the house and now there are none. Hopefully that will change soon, but like many of you here it is so hard to stop thinking about all the good times we had with our cute little friends.

So very sorry to hear about Duncan. A very emotional and difficult time for sure. When we lost Gypsy last year I spent a lot of time going through all her photos. Seeing her puppy pictures actually helped to remind me that we provided her with a wonderful life and I felt really good about that. Hugs from our family.
