Sigh...wouldn't it be a shame to be away for months and months and NOT be homesick? Not far from Port Angeles Wa, we have miles of woodland trails empty enough on a weekday to let the dogs follow their noses...how lovely it is to go a-walking in the woods on a crisp rain kissed winter's day! Little black noses and little black feet flashing through the brush, blurring as they race by. We walk and run and double back to double check, we dig and chase and stop to pull sticks from fur (what is it, let me get that, there you go). We walk slow at your heels back to the car and only bark a bit when you go in for cobbler and coffee. After a day in the woods the couch is king and the wood stove is a god we gladly worship on our backs, bellies up we submit to it's awesome radiance. Oh warmth! Oh heat!

Lovely footage, beautiful dogs! I've just spent Thanksgiving on Guam, lovely in it's own tropical way, but it's not home. Thank you for that lovely taste of the PNW!
