hallswel Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hello all I feel like I dropped off the face of the earth......lots happening in my life. I wrecked my Harley practicing and I wasn't hurt but my Hubby fell running to check on me so the last month we have been dealing with his injury. Must be a sign i am too old to learn, although I passed the riders edge class just wasn't ready for the road so I was at the school practicing....looks like I need it. He had his last surgery Friday and hopefully things will be better. I know now that I am not cut out to be a nurse, takes a special person. But we are on the rode to recovery now and I can catch up on email and the forum I took some pictures yesterday. They all need grooming and I will work on that....Harley has that far away look in her eye and Harry is feeling studly these days. Harley looking away to the future Harley Harry Now little Sugar Hope everyone is having a good spring and looking forward to a wonderful summer Liz Rebel, Hammurabi, Sugar, Dirty Harry, Paint, Duncan and Saffron
Scully'sMom Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Liz, I'm sorry for all you've been through. I hope your hubby is on the mend now. As always, your furbabies are beautiful.
maggie Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Seems like you've had your hands full. I hope your husband is completely well soon. All the pictures are great! Sounds like love is in the air....
toomanypaws Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hi Liz, sorry about your accident and hope your dh is recovering. I too have been pretty scarce around here and feel like I've missed alot of new posters. My mom's been moved to a nursing home and words can't describe what an emotional rollercoaster it's been w/ dad. On a good note, I'm a Great Aunt to a beautiful boy. I wish we had a place to talk about this stuff here. Back on topic, my cairns continue to amuse and amaze me. They are each so unique in their own ways. They've accepted the Westie as one of their own, but do not tolerate our lab pup. They can't understand why he won't chase them and only wants to wrestle w/ them. I love your pics of Harley and Harry. Sugar continues to be my favorite. Glad to see ya back! <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
pkcrossley Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 hope everybody heals up soon. don't do anything to the dogs, they are perfect.
bradl Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Ouch. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your husband. Practicing on a bike is something too few even think about. You were smart, even though the end result was a bummer. Toomanypaws: Dog Park area is OK for off-topic posts that are of interest to members but not in scope for Cairn Talk. Darcy's Folks Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 as always, your crew looks fabulous and adorable!!!! Kate, Darcy & Bailey's mom
CathyAnn Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 All your 'kids' look fab! But, I must admit I have a soft spot for Miss Sugar . Maybe 'cause Piper is such a rough 'em tough 'em boy, more a guy's dog, for sure. She really makes me want a sweet, little girl again. Maybe someday..... Cathy Cathy and Piper

We hope your dh recuperates fully, and that you will exercise caution on that Hog in the future!! You can teach an old dog new tricks, but people take a little longer. Hang in there.
