Am I stripping or cutting with the Mars?

I just started using the Mars King on my girls but wonder if all this soft, feathery fur coming off my poor Madison is the undercoat or am I cutting her "good fur?" I don't use it hard....more like a combing effect. Maybe 2 or 3 times through an area. Please advise....

Both. The really soft stuff is often undercoat being 'raked' out. We use ours pretty much as you describe.
