My Own Petsmart Pup

Scully'sMom

Recommended Posts

I always loved that PetSmart commercial where the dachsund brings in his "bo-bo" into the store. I bought Scully one a little while ago and I just snapped this picture yesterday morning. I think it's one of my favorites of her. (Sorry for being a pushy pup mom showing pictures).

Way too cute. I love that commercial too. Scully must not be a de-stuffer...Or is this pic before the deed that mine would surely commit?

You're not being a pushy pup mom. I love seeing your pictures! I also love that commercial too. I bought the smaller size one for my Westie pup when I first brought him home. He played w/ it a little, but not like Abbey. She steals it from him every chance she gets. I know what I'm buying her for her next b-day. Scully looks like she's guarding her new toy.

A pushy mom....never!! Your Scully is precious, adorable and wonderful to look at.

But what is a "boo-boo?" I'm always looking for different toys for my crew.

If you look closely at the smile on Bo-Bo you can see his smile's been chewed and sewn back on about five times.

But what is a "boo-boo?"

In the commercial, the dog's toy is called "Bo Bo", not sure how to spell it so when I tell her to get Bo Bo she goes and gets that. They have three different colors at PetSmart - they're just long and stuffed and have a squeeker at the bottom part of the body.

Here it is....Loofah Dog Toy

Ours had a small pink elephant/hippo thing from Walmart that she played with for months and carried around everywhere. She eventually pulled a lot of the stuffing out, so I just flipped it inside out, cleaned all the stuffing out, reflipped it and gave it back to her empty and she loved it just as much. Never had to get her another one.

We bought one for Oscar on the first we had him. His bo-bo is red and devil like, I think we made a good purchase considering he was a little  for the first 3 months at home.

Every stuffed toy we've bought Ellie she has literally "beaten the stuffings" out of! What a darling picture of Scully! It would be nice if Ellie could have a toy she didn't destroy, but thanks for your pics.

I didn't realize how bad the face was on that until I took the picture and couldn't figure out which end was supposed to be up.

That is such a cute cute picture. I often times think I should get one for my crew but I know it will get de-stuffed. You should send the picture to pet smart

Stuffed toys stand no chance at our house. Bailey has always been a "de-stuffer", and now that he has Sophie to help him those cute little pieces of fluff have no chance at all. Now the inevitable tug-of-war is fun to watch, but it's really not too healthy for the toy! MDW has stitched, stuffed, removed hanging ears, tails, and other appendages from these darling little playthings, but sooner or later (usually sooner!) they wind up in the trash. This morning I saw both of them after a squirrel in the back yard, and I thought "How are they going to divide it up if they catch it?" Luckily, Mr. Squirrel made another miraculous escape. Better luck next time, guys.

I absolutely love that picture! Siggy has a couple of those-we call them his "babies." I also just think it is the most precious thing, I can say "go get your baby" and he will go and get one of his little stuffed dogs. I, too, have had to take on the role of plastic surgeon to try to salvage his "babies" after he chews them to pieces.

You are not a pushy pup mom-I absolutely love seeing pictures of other cairns. It's nice to message with others that understand the obsessive love I have for Siggy and the incredible joy that he has brought to my life.

That is so true of all of us. This has been such a tremendous outlet for me and I'm sure for all of us. Especially, we each understand the tremendous amount of love we have for our Cairns.
