No No, your not asking an ignorant question. :) The Badlands of South Dakota are about 20 miles (30K) due east from our place. http://www.nps.gov/badl/ If you ever make it for a visit I'll be glad to act as a tour guide. :)

Beautiful pictures! I know my oldest cairn, Kiara would have to be leashed or I'd never see her again. You live in an area I've always wanted to visit. I've seen most of the states, but always wanted to visit the Badlands after watching Butch Cassidy and Sundance years ago.
