while I was helping mommy in the garden I found this really big stick!(how lucky is that?) Only problem was I couldnt find a space big enough to get my stick out. mommy got mad at me and said I was stomping her lettuce down. she took my big stick and made me leave the garden. next time I get in I'll get that big stick and be very carefull not to take the attatched tomato plant with it. after all that I got reeaallly tierd and crashed in the hall with my stuffed buddy. which I arranged there all by myself. Whew! being a cairnis alot of work.

I don't know WHY your mommy didn't appreciate your help. NICE stick by the way. I helped my mommy this weekend after she put grass seed down. WHY she covered it up with sheets I have no clue. Even I know they go on the comfy bed! I helped her big time though - I peed on the sheet to help water her seed.

scullys mom-

They are a handfull! I get soo angry sometimes at the downright demanding attention impishness -then I

just think but shes soo cute and otherwise a sweetheart a true nighttime snuggler; and then I laugh and say she is really such a good girl..then I always have to add.... sometimes!.. cover up the seeds? no way she would drag the material all over-it would never be on the seeds......My husband cannot get seeds planted in the winter holes she made he fills them-she digs them up-cracks me up! hes getting sooo frustrated and I cant help but laugh that nervous laugh, because I go through that kind of thing 24-7.with her. HE has no real clue ...just a touch of it. He gets to escape to work.

Lol...both of your stories cracked me up!! After seeing what the furkids did to the ferns outside, I have decided to only plant the front (ungated) yard and the other back yard where they are rarely allowed...

Thanks for the morning laugh!

Misty now knows how to help me pull weeds and carry things to the shed she just caught on last week for we have been weeding allllllllll week - I get a tough weed started =she grabs ahold of it yanks it out shakes off the dirt and drops it not in but by the bucket-pretty neat! she wont start pulling untill I give the ok. sounds like I;m bragging? NO- just very proud of her :D

I've been doing major weeding/landscaping in our backyard. It's not easy w/ my crew. They think it's the greatest thing to follow me around when I'm weeding or trimming shrubs. Abbey and Hannah love running off w/ small twigs while Kiara insists I toss her ball w/ one hand while I pull weeds w/ the other. Then there's the Westie pup who tries to pull my gloves off. :w00t: I just bought a couple Elm trees that I'm going to plant and there's no way I'm going to start digging w/ them out. Then again, maybe I could show them where I want the tree and let them dig the hole. I'm just afraid they might take that as a clue to dig me enough holes for our own forest.

That is a risky test-but it did work for me guess I was lucky. Scruffy only dug a hole where I told him too Misty is learning she does dig more than my last one tho" I think they somewhat out grow that urge as the mature. unless you give them a bone or chew stick outside. but thats understandable. cant you just make a designated digging area-special for them and every time they start to dig-redirect them to their special digging grounds? I would only do that for insistant diggers if you cant beat them join them only you can both ;) still have your way.
