Is that a beautiful picture. Is she going to take a ride on that big ol Harley?

Well I have a leather jacket for Sugar and still need to make Harley's. Now I am going to try something wild....I decided to take the riders edge course Harley offers they say anyone can learn to ride......even 50 year old ladies??? I am going to try and if I make it I might see about riding with my hubby.

:offtopic: In Fl a couple of months ago I did something a little different and surprise everyone I know. I got Sugar's paw print tattoed on my left ankle. There were three of us and we all got our own little Cairn Paw tattoed, Karen and I got it on our ankle and Nanette got it on her foot. Funny thing was they had a pool going at work to see if I would get one and where it would be. hee hee

Anyone another of the ladies here went for her birthday last weekend and got her pups paw tattoed on her ankle. I guess we are the PAW Gang.

Here is a carrier I found for pups to go on bikes http://road-hound.com/index.asp?PageAction...&Category=6

Nice pictures! It was almost a toss up for me to decide which "Harley" is better looking. ;) In my earlier days, I rode on a Lowrider from Florida to the Redwoods. Harleys still turn my head, but they're not quite as hugable as your little Cairn Harley.

Where's the picture of your Sugar pawprint tatoo? Can you imagine what my ankle would look like w/ all of my Cairn's pawprints on it?

That's a nice carrier. Hannah goes everywhere w/ me. She sometimes gets nervous in her carseat when a big semi passes us. I can't imagine how scared she'd get riding in that carrier. Of course, when you have Harley Cairns like you do, they have to be tough!

I took that riders course quite a few years ago and it was fantastic! I had never rode before and my first bike was a Harley! One of the things I'll always remember is "Don't look where you're going; look where you WANT to go." That saved my butt many times over.

And just so Brad doesn't delete my offtopic post.....a side car would be great for your furbabies and I love the pawprint tattoo idea.

DH says Harley needs a big black studded collar to go with that Hog! I say it's a really cute picture.

:offtopic: My DSIL rides a Harley at 47 yrs. old and I know she'll never give it up, so 50 yrs. old is nothing! A good friend works for Harley and rides them constantly. He has a sidecar and their Dobie used to ride with him in parades.

That is a terrific picture - I think you should send it to Harley Headquarters! Maybe some day you can show us a picture of your tattoo. Sounds cool.

I must say I am in LOVE with the pink ones... :P

I agree about the pink helmet. Liz, that is a "must have" for Sugar.

Harley would need a bright orange

Here is the Tat

Now how we got it, Nanette's hubby took a picture of the paw, we had clean it up cutting away any stray hairs, she didn't have much because I keep it pretty clean then he took away everything but the pads on the screen, we printed that up took it with up and they made the pattern and did the actual picture. We measured the width of the pads and that is the actual size of the pattern, it is 1 1/8 inch across

Things we noticed ....the older the dog the wider apart the pads and the more cracks they had in them. all three of them had some different shape to them

Here's her paw
