Happy Birthday to My Wonder Twins

It seems impossible but Sweet Pea and Teddy Bear are five years old as of today.

I'm glad that even though they spent their first four years in different places

they get to live and frolic together now.

I'll try my best to get some pics tonight.

Happy Birthday Sweet Pea & Teddy Bear :party:

Many more to celebrate!

Got some pix that are sort of OK. Thanks to the Wonder Twins' Dad for taking them

and processing fo post.

First, to answer some questions....Teddy and Sweet Pea were, indeed litter mates. Sweet Pea

was living in not so nice a kennel as a breeder until May 13 of last year when the particular

breeder who adopted her at 12 weeks decided to not be a breeder any more. (I'm glad; the conditions

these cairn children were being kept in were deplorable.) It reminds me that the day I

adopted Ted, his breeder really wanted me to look at a little girl (which would've been

Sweet Pea.) How would her life have differed if I had brought her home instead of Teddy?

I try not to dwell on that. She is safe and happy now and getting lots of love and care.

Second question...that is Teddy in our avatar.

Now for the pix.

First we have Sweet Pea and Mom posing with party hats:

Here's Teddy...big brother Olie is observing and yawning.

Now for the piece de resistance...the Frosty Paws in preparation:

And finally, time for the Frosty Paws:

Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes!

Sorry for the belated birthday wishes. Looks like they had a great day!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.
