Whenever we walk in the woods, Wes loves to run away with the pine cones. Today after an overnight storm, there were lots of pine cones all over the place. I picked one up and stabbed myself with what felt like a sewing needle.

Each new pine cone on the path had sharp thorns/needles sticking out all over. I had never seen this before and I knew I had to tell all of you to watch out for these things
