mrskti Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I was going through some pictures and came across shots of the night we traveled home from picking up the girls....man they grew up so fast. Thought I'd share a few shots. Here was the night in the motel .......playing, keeping them in one spot........ Then on to home..... and their favorite pastime! THeir first set of ears.... Terry, mom of Dori and Ellie Mae
Eliz222 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Cute puppy pictures! I love looking back on how tiny our puppies use to be! I love the last picture in the bathroom "using" the toilet paper.
maggie Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Those pictures are adorable, they certainly grow way too fast!
Scully'sMom Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 That's so funny you started this topic. I was watching running and having a great time in the yard today and I thought back to the day we brought her home. She slept curled up in my arms from the minute we got in the car. Life's never been the same since - and that's a good thing. Scully came in the door and immediately made herself at home.. Then Scully discovered the woman who would spoil her rotten - grandmom. Grandmom was just out of the hospital after a total knee replacement. I guess judging from this picture we should have realized what was in store for us. She loved to fight with the tip of grandmom's cane. And then.....I was pooped!
Tracy A. Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Aaawww what cute photos. Makes one hunger for puppy breath.... and that's a dangerous thing! at least for me. Tracy, Amos, Walter, Brattwrust & Mettwurst a.k.a The Gremlins

Eliz222 Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Here is a baby picture of Finch. I will have to look through my cd's for a picture of Scout. I was new to digital pictures when Scout was a baby, so I don't have many pics of her. I made my pictures too small to really see. These were taken on Finch's first day home.
Barney's Mom Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 You are not kidding when you say they change so FAST!!!! These are Barney at 9 weeks, (notice Cali looking down on him! I am sure she is thinking, "What did you bring home????"") then Barney at 16 weeks! What a change! My arm is feeling the change too! He is so heavy! My cat weighs 6 pounds and feels like a feather compared to him! This is a neat post All creatures great and small, the Lord God, He made them all!
mrskti Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 oh my gosh, what darling baby pictures!!!!! I swear they are the cutes darn breed of them all!!!!! Am I beeing too biased? Nah, didnt think so! We should be careful looking at these, there may be a whole new crop of babies show up cause we cant stand to be w/o one!!!!! A little more training needed here, consistancy then maybe i'll think about another one!!!! sure is tempting though....... Keep the pics coming, i love it. edit, that one of elliot peeking over the cushion is so darn cute.....could just eat him up..... Terry, mom of Dori and Ellie Mae

savannahsmom35 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Okay Somer, this is a shot in the dark...left bottom corner of basket? Good guess, but she is the one in the middle on the front row (the only one with her ears already up). My how time flys.... We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. -M. Acklam Savannah's Dogster Page
abe's dad Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 I could not resist adding a few of my favorite pictures! How time flies. The last one is Abe and his best friend UNTIL he discovered that he could chew his eyes out..........then alas the poor sleeping buddy was picked to shreds! Valerie BTW...the middle image is Abe's Dad in case you all are wondering!
toomanypaws Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Oh my goodness! Such adorable puppy pictures! Poor Kiara was before digital and most of her puppy pictures are in albums. I'll have to dig up some close ups. This was always a favorite of my dd and Kiara on Kiara's first day home. We had the joy of getting pictures of Abbey from birth. Here's a cute one of her and her brother. She's the one on the right. Here's another picture of Abbey and her brother getting bigger and cuter. Abbey is on the left. Abbey was a present for our dd. You can see that Abbey got royal treatment from the start. Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
mrskti Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 oh my god, that last pic is a hoot....too cute. Gotta love little girls. Terry, mom of Dori and Ellie Mae
toomanypaws Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Of course we can't forget baby Hannah. This is dark, but one of my favorites of her at 3 wks. Yes, I cut those little nails after I took this picture. Here's Hannah home w/ us. She was all of 2 lbs here. I think our Lab was starting to feel overrun w/ Cairns. Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
