Monthly Cairn Terrier Meeting

Chase and Gus went to the Saturday meeting with all of their buds, half brothers and sisters and some

new dogs. Probably had 15 terriers at the get together. The club paid the sitting fee for a professional photog to come out and shoot the dogs. Can you imagine trying to get pets to sit still with all of the stimulation surrounding them? It was as much fun watching the pet owners as the pets! Most everyone was clean for photos. The only problem was the 2 Scotties that occasionally attend meetings. One is a 2 year old male show dog and comes in and picks fights at some point. All of the dogs at the meeting are spay/neut. except for the new 4 month old which the Scottie got a hold of briefly. No harm and no foul.

Our club supports a "Pen Pals prison program" where inmates train dogs. We gather funds, food and treats for the dogs and program.

Usually on the 4th of July, some of the members march in a small parade with the Cairns wearing their bandannas. It is quite a site.

Thats it for now.

PS

Chase and Gus were exhausted.... ;) You can see and vote for them if you haven't at

You must give some time to your fellow men. Even if it's a little thing, do something for others - something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

It's because cats simply can't be trusted for heavy lifting & dirty work required in the war on terrior.
