Does Your Cairn Have a Favorite Hiding Spot?

My DH and I took Scully out to a huge field with a 30' lead for her to run amuck and afoul as my DH calls it. She sure did. The absolute joy on her face as she's running and running like there's no tomorrow just melts your heart. When we came home she then jumped into her pool for about an hour, having a grand old time. Shortly thereafter.....here's where we found her.

I guess she thought if we couldn't find her we wouldn't make her play so much. :D Does your Cairn like to hide in anyplace particular?

That's cute! We have a breakfast table almost identical to yours. That too is Kiara's favorite hiding place. I need to get a picture of her laying w/ her head resting on that chair bar, whatever you call it. Abbey doesn't really hide. She'll go into her crate when she doesn't want to be bothered. Then there's Hannah who wants to be with me unless she's alseep. Sometimes I hide from her.

Mia hides somewhere, but I haven't found it (I think it is under one of the beds). Every time I go looking for her, I eventually realize she has come out of her hiding spot and is following me!

For now my little Brystal hides under the gas grill. She just disappears and we lift up the cover and there she is - she won't be able to fit under there long when she gets bigger she'll have to find a new place. And Hollie burries herself in the middle of the yard like she's making her own camo out of the grass.

The dearest one I ever saw was Holdsworth (now at Rainbow Bridge) and his fondness for flopping underneath my grand piano...about the spot where my feet would rest when not using the pedals.

The picture of Scully under the table could actually be a picture of Zen. Same markings. Even the table is

almost the same. However, where is the scredded paper, sock, or whatever that is constently in this spot?

You clean it up and 30 minutes later there is more of something in that spot. Also when you give him a 'crunchy' treat he runs to that spot to hide and eat it. Arn't Cairns fun to be around? :D

Duffy hides under the bed in the master bedroom, and Mickey hides under the bed in the guest bedroom. They both hide on the chairs in the dining room as the table cloth drops down far enough to cover the chair seats.

Oh that is such an adorable picture! When Murph needs time away from the Collies, he goes and lays in the hallway on the other side of the house from'em. He knows they stay stuck to me like glue, so he gets to sleep without any Collie noses poking him.

Scout likes to hide under the dining room table....but if my DH has the nail clippers in his hand, she tries to blend into the floor, behind the sofa, in the family room!

Finch doesn't hide away, but sometimes I hide from her! LOL!

Loagn somehow flattens himself and army crawls under the loveseat. All we can see is part of a little nose. We know for sure that he is there when we hear the snoring.

Connor loves a little crawlspace under the bed and he used to love to get behind the entertainment center....until we found he also liked to gnaw speaker wires

Once Connor burrowed under some couch pillows so they covered his head...guess he thought he was hidden!
