We have a two and a half year old Cairn, Siggy, who is very much the alpha male. He is dog aggressive with larger dogs, but we have not seen any problems with smaller dogs. Any advise on how to bring a new cairn pup into his world?

*Usually* adult dogs treat pups differently.

I only own females, we all know how bad they are with other adult females,

but for some reason female pups are okay.

The alpha has to get their 'buffalo' in so it may be hard to watch - but they need to do it. Just keep an eye on them at all times!
