Hello Everyone,

I am long overdue to post this topic. Please meet the newest addition to my family. This is Maggie, a 16 month old Cairn we adopted from Cairn Rescue League. We were supposed to be just a foster home to her, but my DH didn't get the concept! She's been with us for two months and had no training at all. She has made great progress in such a short time. Last Saturday we started training classes and she is showing an interest in agility, so I plan to take her through the classes. Emma and Eric have welcomed her into our home and our family. We are overjoyed to have her in our life and we are truly outnumbered!!! Those of you with three Cairns will understand, I am sure! I will keep you posted on her. Thanks for sharing your stories and advice!

Whoa, Cynthia, you stole my thunder! That was going to be the title of my thread when I posted about our new addition, Sweet Pea, adopted from a kennel that's divesting themselves of the breeding activity. We just got her on Saturday, and haven't had opportunity to take many pictures so I've been putting off posting.

I guess I have one, but it's not a very good one. This little girl is a baby doll,

just like your new addition...and boy, oh boy is she giving her brothers a run for their money...even though they each outweigh her by over 5 pounds.

Enjoy your new fur baby, and congratulations.

Here's Sweet Pea:

Congratulations to both of you! They are both adorable! Maggie reminds me a lot of Savannah.

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

And may I add that your Cairns are indeed fortunate to have found such wonderful homes....they are both precious and I can't wait to hear tales about them.

Maggie & Sweet pea are two beautiful little girls.

Sweet pea looks just like my Missy when she was a puppy. Missy was all black. I miss that little girl so much. Here is a photo of Missy when she was young.

Congrats to both of you w/ your new additions, Maggie and Sweet Pea. Three Cairns are definitely an adventure, kind of like having your own amusement park. It's amazing how these fiesty little critters can be so alike in many ways, yet each have a distinct personality. You can't go wrong w/ another Cairn in your life.

my rationale...Madison is like two doggies wrapped up in one 12 pound body.

So, I kind of already have three!!!!
