Cairns2
Hello Everyone, I am long overdue to post this topic. Please meet the newest addition to my family. This is Maggie, a 16 month old Cairn we adopted from Cairn Rescue League. We were supposed to be just a foster home to her, but my DH didn't get the concept! She's been with us for two months and had no training at all. She has made great progress in such a short time. Last Saturday we started training classes and she is showing an interest in agility, so I plan to take her through the classes. Emma and Eric have welcomed her into our home and our family. We are overjoyed to have her in our life and we are truly outnumbered!!! Those of you with three Cairns will understand, I am sure! I will keep you posted on her. Thanks for sharing your stories and advice! Cynthia

Thanks for sharing your stories and advice! Cynthia <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whoa, Cynthia, you stole my thunder! That was going to be the title of my thread when I posted about our new addition, Sweet Pea, adopted from a kennel that's divesting themselves of the breeding activity. We just got her on Saturday, and haven't had opportunity to take many pictures so I've been putting off posting. I guess I have one, but it's not a very good one. This little girl is a baby doll, just like your new addition...and boy, oh boy is she giving her brothers a run for their money...even though they each outweigh her by over 5 pounds. Enjoy your new fur baby, and congratulations. Here's Sweet Pea: Tara, Mom of Olie, Teddy, and Teddy's Full Sister Sweet Pea Max and Nelly
savannahsmom35
Congratulations to both of you! They are both adorable! Maggie reminds me a lot of Savannah. We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. -M. Kramersmom
Maggie & Sweet pea are two beautiful little girls. Sweet pea looks just like my Missy when she was a puppy. Missy was all black. I miss that little girl so much. Here is a photo of Missy when she was young. Rhonda,Kramer & Angel Missy "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog". "It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are" Missy Rainbow Bridge Memorial/>http://www.indulgedfurries.com/petdiabetes/memorium/missy2.htm
toomanypaws
Congrats to both of you w/ your new additions, Maggie and Sweet Pea. Three Cairns are definitely an adventure, kind of like having your own amusement park. It's amazing how these fiesty little critters can be so alike in many ways, yet each have a distinct personality. You can't go wrong w/ another Cairn in your life. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
