Easter Egg Hunt

My 10 yr old dd decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt for our dogs (we have 5!). I thought I'd share pictures of Kiara, Abbey, and Hannah. My dd filled the eggs w/ a small treat. Here's Hannah and Abbey finding their first eggs after realizing our Lab was onto something.

Hannah finds out there's a treat inside.

Then Abbey sniffs her egg.

Kiara spots an egg . . .

but a lizard catches her eye on the tree. Maybe if I had stuffed some eggs w/ lizards, she might have been interested.

Abbey is so proud of this one!

My dd counts Abbey and Hannah's eggs.

Now THAT's a great Easter story - complete with pictures! I especially love the one of Abbey with the egg in her mouth. She looks to happy with herself.

Thanks for sharing those with us.

Oh...those are wonderful pictures!

You have lizards in your yard? I was so excited last summer in Florida seeing the cutest little "lizards/salamanders scurrying across the sidewalks. I wanted to take them home.

Your Cairns are beautiful.

I have to do a Easter egg hunt tomorrow morning for my granddaughter....my daughter dropped off 48 eggs today for me to hide. I can see it now....major fight between GD and Elliott over hidden eggs.

Happy Easter everyone and Happy Spring

That looks like so much fun! I loved looking at all the pictures...and it looks like you had great weather too! I made a "family" Easter basket this year and included 2 little ducks which are for Scout and Finch (hope my kids don't mind!).

I may want to hire your daughter as a playmate for Piper!!

The lizard spotting picture is my favortite but they are all very very cool. What fun.

Our tee hee moment of Easter was the expression on Sophie's face when she lunged for the piece of banana that fell to the floor while making banana pudding. She quickly decided she didn't like bananas and her expresion told it all.

What a great idea for your daughter to think of. I have never seen any pet/s doing an Easter egg hunt. Remindes me of a few litttle kids on an Easter hunt.

Amazing pictures.

That is an awesome idea! Now I can't wait until next year! Great pics. They look like they are having a ball!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

That is so adorable! We had an Easter egg hunt, but for the kids. I wish I thought of including Alfie and some neighbors' dogs! Alfie was in his element, however, barking and 'directing' everyone!

In my next life, I want to come back as one of your Cairns!!!!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Thanks, you made me smile. It was so warm today that dd had the sprinkler out for them to run through. That means more towels for me to wash. :( My dd just commented tonight how spoiled the Cairns were when she saw that I bought them new bassinet crib sheets. I like them because they wrap nicely around their beds and make cleaning easier.
