Don't you just love it when they get in their "hunt" mode with tail straight up, ears perked? Love your pics. BTW, does your pond have Koi (?) or any kind of fish? Would make for some very interesting pics, I bet.

I have 2 ponds in the backyard. One did have koi, but I gave them away. The pond Teona is drinking from is full of shubunkin and fancy goldfish. I am redoing the old koi pond and transferring the goldfish to that pond. The old goldfish pond will be filled in.

Tabby loves to stand on the deck and bark at the goldfish.

this is the koi pond we're redoing

this is how the goldfish/lily pond normally looks

Cute, cute pictures! I love your pond! Finch would be in it all day! My neighbor has one, but it's empty...and Finch still goes there all the time looking for the water!

Somebody in your family is really talented to build those ponds. They look great and so relaxing. If we had a pond or even a big puddle, Darcy and Molly would be smack dab in the middle of it wallowing in it. Baths anyone?

Love the ponds, those are great! The dogs are great too, it is good to see Tabby with her coat back.

Great pictures of your "girls", and that's a great pond you have. I doubt I could keep Kiara out of that and w/ snakes around here, that would make me quite nervous.

Those are great pics and gorgeous pond. I love the little waterfall. My Elliott would be in there constantly. Thanks for sharing.

Tabby still has a very small bald spot just above her tail. It is finally beginning to grow back.

Snakes is the main reason I'm getting rid of 1 pond and redoing the other. I know Teona will not hesitate to go after a snake. All the snakes so far have just been water snakes, no cottonmouths. The koi pond has these hollow fake boulders that go around the pond. We are getting rid of these so the snakes have nowhere to hide. Teona loves to jump up on the waterfall and walk around. She doesn't care if it's on or not.

Great pictures - and I agree, the ones with the tongues sticking out are so adorable! Just looking at those little faces of your babies reminds me of why we love these Cairns so much.
