She couldn't wait for me to come outside!

My Ridgeback, Cayenna, was wanting to check it out but Daisy hovered over it. HAHA!! Very happy dog and lots of praises!

We live out in the country so this won't be the only one... :ninja:

Good Girl!!

Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in. - Mark Twain

Impressive :D

Rudi discovered mice in my garden this winter. Twice now he's left mouse bodies for me to find. Yesterday there was a freshly dismembered mouse on my lawn. I'd prefer if he ate them after catching really. I think mice are really cute when they are in one piece - I don't need an anatomy lesson!

Did Daisy attempt to eat the rat?

Wow...she does look proud. How long before she dropped it?

Elliott killed my "pet" chipmunk last year. Although I was upset I couldn't show him because he also was proud and just doing what comes natural.

Rodent soup at your house?

Isn't she a clever girl... I wondered too did she eat it?

When we first moved into our house a little over a year ago we had a large colony of moles in our back yard...you could tell by all the squishy ground and tunnels. Our yard no longer has moles....

NO! I didn't let her dine on her kill (bad mommy)

It was pretty dark last night when I let her in so I didn't mess with it then.

This morning she carried it around for a little bit then tried to hide it under hubby's toolbox. I snuck around, stole it and disposed of it. Don't you know that would be stinking real nice. It's supposed to be 82* here today! EEEWWWWW!!

what a good girl

We have a very large rat that lives under our deck. My girls have cornered it a few times, but I wouldn't let them kill it. The rat has been there for years.

Teona killed 2 baby doves last year. We now have 2 sets of babies in the backyard. I have to go out first to make sure they aren't on the ground. Teona almost caught one of them yesterday.

Ok, that is an impressive shot....she was definately posing for that! But...my thought is...i know how they love to give kisses.....and that thought after killing 'anything' is gross....do you do anything to..uhm, freshin them up???

We live in the middle of 80 acres, i know we have tons of critters out there but have never seen rats...thank god! Lots of possum and racoons and a million rabbits. I dont think I could get anything out of Ellie's mouth, she has vise grips for jaws.

Good job. I hope you traded a treat for her prize.

Just doing what comes natural! My oldest Kiara is quite the hunter and has killed her share of snakes, toads and lizards. What I don't like is she shakes them inside out. I hope I never have to see the remains of a rat if she kills one.
