My best friend's mom thought she saw a rat on her deck last week so I decided to walk Pepper and Brodie up to her house to see if they would find a scent. Their little paws barely hit the driveway when they picked up a scent trail. The Mom was amazed because she had just seen a rat there. Anyway my guys discovered three holes chewed through under their front deck. They worked it really well. The husband swore up and down it was rabbits who had done the deed...an exterminator confirmed a few days ago that the job was done by rats. My guys were right! Hunting with Cairns is a hoot..!

Hi! These little guys are so adept at rooting out mice and rats - - - Riley goes crazy scratching on the cellar walls - - - we have tiny little field mice that make their way into the partitions of our walls and he can detect their scent in seconds!! Can't wait for warmer weather when they all leave!!!!

I took Sophie to a friend's and she went nuts around their bottm cupboards. Would not leave them alone. A couple of days later my friend reported a mouse, I'm a believer.

The time we took the Cairns w/ us to N.C. for Christmas, Kiara begged to go out just to hunt for mice. She'd stick her head right under the snow sniffing. There was a shed out back and by the way Kiara was acting, mice must have been in there.
