One to Two and Two to Three.....

I just wanted to make amn observation that I recently noticed and wondered if anyone else has realized it too:

A lot of us began posting here with one dog. Then somehow the single dog owners turned into double dog owners and the double dog owners that were here have turned into triple dog owners!! Where does it stop folks?? Have they bewitched us? Fed us some drug to induce the desire to own more dogs? Or, used subliminal messages while we sleep? Who knows? who will ever know? Where will it stop???!!!

PS~can not say that I am too upset about it though, lol.

Happy Monday

Valerie

It stops w/ 3 for me. I should have been a breeder, but then I'd never be able to let one of my pups go. :P I love having Cairns all around my feet, and would have another if I knew it wouldn't "rock the boat". I joined this board while waiting to bring my 3rd home. It's been fun watching so many add to their families.

It's a Cairn Thing!

If Sugar ever has puppies, I know I will want to keep at least one. Then I will have four, and dh says no way!

I want one of Sugar's puppies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

I would love to have another one too, but I would have to find a new house and a new husband...and, most likely, new kids! B)

This is a condition known as Cairn Collection Obsessive Disorder, which I am hopelessly afflicted with, as far as I know there is no known cure or treatment, those affliceted generally end up with a house full of Cairns, Cairn things, Cairn Books and have a feverish desire to be around other CCOD patients. Since the prognosis is grim I suggest we all continue in our Cairn habit and find new homes for the children and husbands

This breed is highly adictive consult surgeon general for symptoms, condition statistics and general health warnings! :P

I certainly have CCOD , My pups breeder has 10 , they all live in a tiny cottage ,

which is spotlessly clean, so I think 2 or 3 is fine or4-567 :D:D:(

You know, when presenting the side of why to get another Cairn- You can always say, they are smaller, eat less, require less dosage on monthly meds, etc... therefore cost less- With certain 4 Cairn's must equal 1 German Shep! That's my line!

LOL I agree, that is a great label for it. CCOD. My hubby has this condition as well (I however, do not, and that is my story and I am sticking to it).

PS~love those Easter ears Beth.

Hi, my name is Somer and I have CCOD.....

Now, if I can give it to my DH, we will be in BIG trouble! He is the ONLY reason I don't have about 5 of them right now....

Uh oh...I caught the bug. There's this adorable little girl adoptable through Col. Potter Rescure here in Md. Her name is Jacobellis or Jacky. Guess who filled out an application?

Olie and Teddy won't know what hit 'em. :D

Oh, great! Now I have another syndrome. I already have GAS (Guitar Aquisition Syndrome). Now I have CCOD. What a way to go!!! :D I would love to have a little girl Cairn sister for Bear. It just isn't going to happen for a while. We have 3 dogs now.....Bear who is almost 10 months old, a 12 week old Golden Retriever and an older 13 year old dog. A second Cairn will have to wait until the older dog perishes, and I'm not ready for that to happen. Someday, I will have a little girl Cairn, but I'll have to be patient.

MAKE it a GREAT day!!! :D
