Easter Parade pictures!

As requested by Hallswel, here's the first Easter 2006 picture of my girls. This was actually a practice shot until I was asked to blow it up. I took this last night at bedtime, one reason they stayed so well. I think they were a little shocked that "mommy" was doing a photo shoot so late. :D

I'm sure I'll be adding more in the next couple days. Get your digitals out and post your pictures for our Easter Parade.

I will be shipping Winnie, Madison and Elliott off to you within the next week for a photo shoot. Please watch for any packages that have air holes in them and might be a tad wet on the bottom.

You have such talent.....

Are you coming too? Just think of the fun we'd have and the stories we could share. I'm not sure how Elliott would handle 5 females. :P

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I need Depends!!!! How adorable they are - and the looks on their faces are too much. They look like "please somebody help us, look what my mommy put on us!". You are talented beyond belief!

Okay guys...this is :offtopic: as the picture below is obviously not my pup but rather my beloved flemish giant, Oliver. He weighed in at 20 lbs. He lived in the house with us and was litterbox trained. How I loved that bunny. I lost him last year but I still tear up when I think of him.

Can't you just hear them saying, "I hate this, I hate this, I hate this!" If it were Packy, he'd be trying to chew everything around him!

That's so cute, though!

Have any of you seen the movie, "A Christmas Story"? The boy Ralphie gets a bunny sleeper, complete with ears and feet, for Christmas and his folks make him put it on. His expression in the movie, wearing that costume, is EXACTLY the same as those cairns. Kinda like, "I have never been so humiliated in my life!"

Face it -- they're thinking: "We're dogs. We don't dress up like bunnies. We chase bunnies. We catch bunnies. We eat 'em. Growl....."

I wish I had a secret to photo shoots. Hallswel is the pro around here. Believe me, when I first bought the bunny hats and tried, Hannah and Abbey ran off and managed to get them off and started shaking them like rag dolls. I knew that was NOT a good time for pictures. I start w/ setting the background first. I get Kiara and have her sit, being she stays so that she can get the nonsence over with ASAP. Then I place Abbey and Hannah. Once they're all sitting, I place the stuffed animals around them and while staying "stay", I put their bunny hats on. It's not as easy as it sounds. If I see they keep getting up and leaving, I don't force it. I want photo shoots to be fun. I love how they run to the treat jar afterwards. :D

OMG! There have been some fantastic photos on this forum but this one takes the cake! That is so adorable and precious! How much superglue did you use to keep the hats on their heads? :P

WOW! He was a big, beautiful bunny! I'm off topic too, but just thought I'd show you my dd's mini Rex. This was taken last year. Her name is Cinder and she's sitting on doll furniture. She's 4 yrs old and I don't think she weighs more than 4 or 5 lbs. We think she's precious. My Cairns have gotten use to her, although I do keep them separated.

Beth, your "bunnies" and your real bunny are adorable!!!!

Lisa, that is one HUGE bunny!!!

I'll try to get some pics of mine, for easter, but if it doesn't involve a frisbee it might be difficult!

I"m with KayHarley here- If I put those bunny hats on Mett & Bratt, my pictures would be of them shredding them! I wouldn't be quick enough to even get a shot with them on!

Let's try again...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

My Bigwig (Californian) isn't quite that big...but I certainly understand how you miss your bun.... Will try to include a picture of Bigwig with Olie and Teddy soon.

All...you rarely see pix from me because I have an SLR...my dh is the digital cam member of the family. Maybe I'll prevail upon him to get some pix up here.

Meanwhile, these "Easter Bunnies" are absolutely adorable. I agree with everyone else. I can't imagine getting Olie and Teddy to sit still for this. You must be a magician. :)

Just thought I'd share this to show they aren't superglued down. This was taken before the good photo. I straightened them out, straightened Abbey's ears and clicked a picture. Sometimes I get that good shot, sometimes I don't.

This picture looks like they're planning their escape, doesn't it?
