12 pm - Oh boy! Frogs and lizards! My favorite!

1 pm - Oh boy! Playing ball! My favorite!

2 pm - Oh boy! Digging holes! My favorite!

3 pm - Oh boy! Dog food, My favorite!

4 pm - Oh boy! Nap time! My favorite!

5 pm - Oh boy! Welcome home Dad/Mom! My favorite!

Well, you get the idea....

Well, as Dave Barry puts it, there are only two occasions on which doggies bark:

1. Somewhere in the world, another dog is barking

2. Nowhere in the world is another dog barking. :D

How about this one....

6:00 a.m. Wake up, but keep my eyes half open, I might miss something.

7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Stare and follow my human playmate. "What are we doing now?? When are we going?? I'm ready to go now!! I'm sure it will be fun!! I want in on this one. I just know we're gonna do something exciting!! When??? WHEN are we going!!??!??"

10:01 p.m. Human playmate melts into bed - totally exhausted.

I had a friend once whose husband said repeatedly that, in his next life, he wanted to come back as one of his wife's dogs...this list reminds me of that!

How about...Waking up mommy and daddy at 5 am as they sleep...Why arent you up? Come on..I have places to go and people to see..when are we going..wake up wake up dont you know theres chipmunks running around out there???

Throwing the ball...come on..throw the ball..again..and again...why are you tired..throw the ball...I'll chase it..just throw it one more timmeeeeee

Yep. Shadow used to wake up early, do a major ear-flapping shake, hop down from the bed and begin yawning very vocally. We interpreted this as the statement: "OKAY

it's morning! Let's get started!" :)

Sophie begins a creep up the bed from the end she sleeps on....little bit by little bit. If I haven't woken up completely by the time she reaches my face...a nose lands in my ear. Then the tail goes mad.....

Being at their "beck and call" is all I live for. I'm amazed they weren't born with those little bells that one rings when they need service. :lol:
