I just got my issue of "Just Terriers" in the mail, guess whos on the front cover! Yep, a Cairn. This issue is dedicated to the cairn and is loaded with stuff.....does anyone else get it? Here is what the front of the mag looks like. It's a quarterly mag. http://www.justterriers.com/justhome.html

BTW, my trainer, Pat Mueller, has an article in this issue... It's the Back to the Roots article...

I imagine you could go to the "Contact Us" at the magazine site and call the number or write them. They don't seem to have an e-mail address. I would be interested in only the Cairn one too, $40 is a little steep for my empty pocketbook.

I think i just did it via email myself....cant remember, i'm over 50 you know!!!! LOL I would definately buy just this issue if I could, there is a ton of cairn stuff there. I think it's a cottage made publication, but i think they're very dog savy people. I know Pat wouldnt be involved with anything else. She is a dyed in the wool terrier trainer. Very passionate about her training. She's a tough love trainer though, some of you might not like that.....she's had some great winning dogs though. She's a lakeland breeder. SHe goes all over the USA doing seminars. anyway.....hope you can all hook up with this issue.

Thanks Brad, I too just ordered the single issue. I didn't see any box to check for the Cairn issue, so also emailed Melanie afterwards. For anyone else just wanting the Cairn issue, it is Winter 2006, vol. 5, #2.

Didn't mean to spook anyone. It's a question that comes up from time to time: what is advertising? If you or someone you are personally associated with is deriving financial benefit, it's advertising if you post about it. To make that distinction is the only reason I took the opportunity to poke at myself. I wasn't accusing anyone of advertising and in fact took advantage of the tip myself. It's the same with the many sources of Cairn stuff or dog-related products. If you're just passing something you found along = great! If it's a project of yours, or your brother-in-law's business (and I find out) = banned.
