Widget's First Bath

Well Widget had gotten in some mud outside so it was time for his first bath. I was not sure what "cleaning" type stuff to use so he just got a water bath.

Plus another picture I took recently. It was actually sunny for like 10 minutes. He is at the side of the yard being all "big" to the neighbor dogs.

OMG! I just LOVE Widget! Boy I'm surprised Widget hasn't dug his way into freedom to the next yard. These Cairns love to dig so you'd better keep an eye out.

Those pictures are absolutely terrific and Widget is an absolute doll.

He's a keeper! I love his coloring. I too would keep an eye on him outside and make sure he doesn't start digging. We put gravel along our fence line, which worked for us.

Widget is Connor's twin! Cream brindle with a black muzzle. He is gonna be a handsome dog!

I think Widget and Cooper are long lost twins separated at birth!!! That is exactly what Cooper looked like as a pup....don't you just love those baths in the kitchen sink?? How I miss those!

The more pictures I see of Widget, the more I want another puppy. He is definitely one of the cutest puppies that I have seen, but then again, have you ever seen an ugly Cairn puppy?

Clancy just had his first bath... he was a bit unsure at first, but it all worked out in the end!

Widget is so brave!! I am most impressed with how still these pups are in the water.

Sophie's first bath was UGLY, she almost rocketed above my head in her try to escape. We had water from one end of the kitchen to the other. She was a very unhappy little dog.

Awww...how cute Widget and Clancey are even soaking wet. I had a female cairn that I swear was 50% cat. I would put her in the tub and she would latch onto my arm with her claws out and dig in for dear life. I can't tell you how many bandaids I had to use on myself at bathtime.

He is a darling! I could cover him with smooches! The colors in his coat are beautiful!
