Ah Cathy, I understand your hurt. Even tho it's not over a Cairn, I will forever miss my Choc. Lab, Mousse and miss him terribly during the holidays. Your Toto looks so precious in that picture and reminds me a little of my Kiara.

Merry Christmas, Toto! Always know how much you were loved.

Dear CathyAnn,

I share your sadness on this bittersweet Christmas Day. This is our first Christmas without our little girl as well.

As I decorated the house, it was so difficult to see her stocking & ornament among the other decorations and knowing she will not be with us.

I know she is celebrating Christmas with many special canines such as your Toto & Mousse. Just think of the antics they all must be up to!

We are all missing our babies today & everyday but take comfort in knowing you WILL see Toto once again. Oh, what a happy reunion that will be!

Wishing you true peace & renewed joy at Christmas & thorough the New Year,

Barbara

Merry Christmas Toto! I know that you were watching over your family on Chistmas day (and always...)

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

This time of year is always so hard when thinking of those that we have lost, both furry and not. Merry Christmas Toto.

I've been thinking of our first cairn, Oliver. His last Christmas with us, he slept under the tree. We didn't know it would be our last Christmas, of course, but it was special. He has been gone almost 9 years and we now have Tink, but he will never be forgotten.

Hi CathyAnn,

Thank you for responding to my post for Sandy. I am so sorry for ToTo. It is so hard to lose them. ToTo looks just like my Sandy. It is funny how Cairns all have the same look. I know Christmas will not be the same without him. Do you have other cairns? I would like to get another one, but it is too soon, and it is so hard to lose them. He was so special to me as I am sure ToTo was to you.

Thanks, Maryann.

Yes, it is SOOOO hard to lose them. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

We have another Cairn, Piper (male), that we got a few years before we lost Toto. We decided to him early because I knew once I lost my girl, it would be too hard to get another.

We did go look at some pups from a breeder in our area. But, for several reasons, we decided not to add a 2nd one.

(((Hugs))) on your loss.....

Cathy
