I posted this last Christmas, but I feel it's time for our new members to enjoy it too! This is a poem that was posted on the AOL Cairn board last year.

I'm gettin' Nuttin' for Christmas

(As told by Riley Charles and Katey Bear)

I catched a squirrel, now he got's no head

Somebody snitched on me.

I pooped a little on Mommy's new spread

Somebody snitched on me.

I peed a little on Mommy's rug,

I went outside and eated a bug,

Ate a scrunchie, frew it back up.

Somebody snitched on me.

I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas

Mommy and Daddy are mad.

I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas

Cause I ain't been nuttin but bad.

I chewed a hole in Daddy's chair,

Somebody snitched on me.

I gibbed my Mommy more gray hair

Somebody snitched on me.

I dug up all the garden plants,

Ran off with Sissy's underpants,

Hided my treats and we gots ants,

Somebody snitched on me.

So I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas

Mommy and Daddy are mad.

I won't be seein' Santa Paws

Somebody snitched on me.

He won't come visit me because

Next year the NBA (NGA)can wait.

So be good you Cairn dogs, whatever you do,

So very cute, but I have to say, although most of the Cairns ain't been nuttin but bad this year, we are all big softies. All the things we buy for these cairns for Christmas will probably bring the PetSmart stock up! LOL

I love it! Savannahs Mom is right they are all spoiled and they can really do no wrong. I wonder if Elliott has read the poem

I've said this before.....if we wanted dogs who laid around and did nothing, we would have gotten Basset Hounds (no disrespect for that breed...they are adorable)or other mellow breeds. But with the Cairn, there is never a dull moment plus you get free entertainment. Can we ask for anything more?

Speaking of free entertainment, this evening Tucker went exploring in my sons' room and came out with a floppy, rubber frisbee type thing. Since everyone was ignoring him (we were pretending to, anyway) he started tossing it into the air with his mouth and pouncing on it, then rolling around on the rug with it. It was hysterical to watch him entertain himself, as well as us!
