Gracie's Home!

I am amazed at the pain tolerance of these dogs! I just got Gracie back from the vet (spaying) and she really hasn't skipped a beat. Now I just need to figure out how to keep her calm for the next few days. I asked the vet if they realized that she is a terrier. They just laughed! Thanks for the well wishes!

With Madison and Elliott....they came home like nothing had happened. These terriers are tough little cookies. Too bad their mommies aren't.

You couldnt tell the Ellie had anything done, Dori was a little more fragile. Had to crate them to keep Ellie off her.

That's so wonderful to have her back, isn't it? My Cairns also bounced right back. Keeping them quiet can be hard, unless it's nap time. Just keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't pull her stitches or staples out. Most dont, but Kiara pulled two staples out and I had to get her re-stapled and a collar put on her. Even w/ the Banguard rubbed on her incision (bitter tasting cream), she still managed to do that. When I had Abbey spayed, and then 6 mths later Hannah spayed, they were little angels :halo::halo: With both of them, I rubbed some Banguard on and neither one of them ever messed w/ their incision.

Hooray for Gracie! Glad you're back at home where you can do all those doggy things you do!
