Calgon........take me away

Well, yesterday I left work early to go home and soak in a nice warm whirlpool bath. I have to play in a company softball game today after work. We practiced on Wednesday and went to the batting cages. Lets just say that I could barely walk or move yesterday....LOL I guess not playing any sports in 15 years got the best of me :P

Anyways, I get home and start the calgon bath. As I'm getting undressed Teona keeps trying to jump onto the side of the tub. I keep telling her she's going to fall in. Seconds later, face first she's in my tub. She just stands there looking at me like, "This is not what I was expecting!". I get her out dry her off and finally slip into the tub for my relaxing bath. Lets just say she jumped in 4 times during my very short 20 minutes of non-relaxing bath...LOL

Teona really must like the water. You'd never catch Darcy anywhere near the tub. But I must say, a Calgon whirlpool relaxing bath does sound inviting. Glad you got to at least sample the water in between pulling Teona out and drying her off.

Sorry Teri, but that is funny!!! I've had Ellie get in the shower with me a few times...hard to get mad when they are so darn funny!

It doesn't sound like Calgon took you very far away. I'd have to babygate Hannah in the kitchen. She's the only one that can't stand me out of her sight and she'd stand by the tub howling at me to let her jump in. She loves the water! My dh took up the Cairn's kiddie pool outside because the weather was getting cooler, so Hannah started playing in the water dish. It's been warm again here so I'm going to get their pool back out today.

I wasn't mad at all. It really made me laugh. If she wasn't in the water she was trying to stand on my head or had her paws on my shoulders trying to drink the water. The thing is once I was in the tub I couldn't really dry her off when I got her out, so i just plopped her back onto the floor and let her run the house all wet. I just thought oh well, it's just water :halo:

Now she smells like vanilla calgon too.....bonus!

Cute story! Savannah gets in the shower with me if I leave the shower door opened enough for her to squeeze in. Never tried getting in the tub while she was home. I have a whirpool tub and I just KNOW that she would bark at the sound the jets make!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

LOL!!!! Great story! I haven't bothered trying to take a bath since we got Darcy... I knew it would just be more hassle than it's worth. Darcy has tried to get into the shower and we haven't let her... although it would probably make HER bathtime easier if I actually let her in.

When It is bath time here I put the boys one at a time in the shower with me and it is much easier than trying to keep them in the tub of water. In my opinion it is the easiest way to give them a bath.

My cairn hops in the tub all the time when the water is draining. He loves to splash around and chase the water as it goes down. He has also gotten in when it's full, and he actully has swam around...once with me in there....that's bonding!
