Just wanted to let those of you on MySpace know that I have created a group for Cairn Terrier owners. If you're on there, then click on the link in my signature & feel free to join!

Take care.....

Thanks, but I can't imagine posting anywhere else but here to discuss my Cairns. This is the best forum group I've found to share stories & pictures, get & receive advice, and offer support to other fellow Cairn owners.

My suggestion is not to act as a replacement for posting here, but simply another avenue for MySpace members to meet other Cairn Terrier owners.

Hey, "Binx"...Lose the shades! Sorta creeps me out! Who are you hiding from? Are you in the Federal Witness Protection Program, or what?

Thanks, but I think I'll stick with this forum.

I liked the way I look in those sunglasses. You can't tell in the picture, but they are mirrored with a slight tint. Kind of like the sunglasses that clubbers wear.

I hope folks are just teasing a bit. Let's remember to keep it about the Cairns. I appreciate the community here and appreciate the loyalty. There is plenty of room on the World Wide Web for lots of Cairn stuff and more every day - I encourage folks to find and enjoy whatever places and methods work for them. Some prefer mailing lists, some prefer forums, blogs, Flikr, LiveJournal, Usenet, MySpace, and so on.

Clubbing? If only I were so young again. Why back in my day ... :P

Thanks Brad.... just trying to provide an opportunity for cairn terrier owners to meet others! Just trying to hook people up!

:PB)

Jason, I "peeked" at your site, and really enjoyed it. I have alot on my plate right now, but I promise to stop by and see what is happening soon. I belong to several Cairn sites and can't get enough!

I couldn't agree more !! This is well run, monitored and informative site.

Dear Jason & Bradl,

I apologize. I was teasing, but I shouldn't have done it with such a heavy hand... and I WAS off-topic as well. If I were Jasons age, I'd probably be clubbing as well!

I'll be careful not to post like this again.

FEAR THE CAIRN!

I'm too old for myspace, but I'll pass it on to my DDs who are obsessed with it, I think. They might like to join the Cairn Terrier group, although sometimes I think they are a bit jealous of the furkids. There's a bit of sibling rivalry.

I'm only 32 and I'M WAY too old for MySpace!! Been there, done that!

Thanks for sharing your Cairn page with us though. It is cool to see Cairn stuff on any forum!

I know plenty of professional adults that are on MySpace that use it as a networking tool. Seems like all I am getting is negative responses from people who are stating that they would rather stick with this. It's all good. I was just trying to be a nice person & provide you guys with another avenue to meet other cairn terrier owners.

I'm sorry I contributed to one of your negative responses. I guess it's because I've been to more forums that didn't take to heart the loyalty we have to our furbabies and it discouraged me. I was in the minority on one forum because I thought it was abuse to leave your dogs in an outdoor pen for over 2 wks w/ no one to check on them while you're away. I will give your forum and look at, even tho I'm in my 40's and thought I'd feel out of place there. The more Cairn friends I can make, the better. :)

Binx, I didn't mean to come across as negative either - sorry!! However, I don't think I'm a professional adult. I'm certain that I'm just an amateur. B)

Thank you! I appreciate it! Just give it a chance! That's all I ask!
