DOGGY DIP

I know we all love to see pictures of our Cairns (or our "Faux Cairn"). We took Darcy to an event called the Doggy Dip today. It's the last day the swimming pool is open for the season, so they let the dogs go swimming today. Great event and so much fun! Darcy actually swam! We weren't sure if she would or not. Enjoy the pics!

We had a sort of Doggy Dip today too. Here is the saga...

We were in the park walking through leaves, when I noticed it was poison ivy!

So I carried Wes to the lake and put his paws in. He liked the water so much, he pulled me in too- shoes and socks and jeans!

Fun shopping afterward. At least I was cool.

what a great idea, looks like you had a ball! that could be a huge fund raising event for charities.

Yes, we did have fun! I actually work for the agency that held the Doggy Dip. We are talking about raising the price next year to include a donation to the Denver Humane Society, etc. I agree, a GREAT fundraising opportunity. Glad you all have enjoyed... it was as one person said "A HOOT!"
