Darcy's Folks Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 I know we all love to see pictures of our Cairns (or our "Faux Cairn"). We took Darcy to an event called the Doggy Dip today. It's the last day the swimming pool is open for the season, so they let the dogs go swimming today. Great event and so much fun! Darcy actually swam! We weren't sure if she would or not. Enjoy the pics! Kate, Darcy & Bailey's mom

Anna_525 Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 How cute! I would love to take Alfie if we had a Doggy Dip Day in our area, too!
Lesley Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Thanks for the pics! So cute. Very nice of a community to open the pool to pets. I bet it was a fun day.
AllAboutPetey Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Those are great pictures! Looks like she had a terrific time.
Scully'sMom Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 What a hoot!!!! I'm so glad you posted those pics. Darcy looked like she was having a great time.
wags Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 We had a sort of Doggy Dip today too. Here is the saga... We were in the park walking through leaves, when I noticed it was poison ivy! So I carried Wes to the lake and put his paws in. He liked the water so much, he pulled me in too- shoes and socks and jeans! Fun shopping afterward. At least I was cool.
rileysmum Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 what a great idea, looks like you had a ball! that could be a huge fund raising event for charities.
Darcy's Folks Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Yes, we did have fun! I actually work for the agency that held the Doggy Dip. We are talking about raising the price next year to include a donation to the Denver Humane Society, etc. I agree, a GREAT fundraising opportunity. Glad you all have enjoyed... it was as one person said "A HOOT!" Kate, Darcy & Bailey's mom
