Teri9672 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I saw this on e-bay and couldn't believe it is a stuffed cairn dog. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 It looks soooooo lifelike. That has to be the best behaved cairn ever.........LOL
Guest mrskti Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I think there was another thread about her work, they are awesome arent they? And yes, I'll bet that little guy is a perfect cairn!!! Can't imagine paying that much for a stuffed animal!!! Yikes!
wags Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Cute! It looks so lifelike I was afraid it was once real, if you know what I mean. $707.00 costs just as much as a real one! Thanks for sharing.
bradl Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Oh I don't know. For many folks it might be the most cost-effective solution ... From PetPlace.com: Lifetime Costs of Pet Ownership Small to medium-sized dogs# Estimated life span: 14 years # First year: $640 to $1,125 # Estimated annual costs thereafter: $440 to $775 Total cost over a dog CAIRNTALK: Questions? toomanypaws Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I saw that on ebay too but didn't post it this time being I posted once before about one. This one is cute, but my Hannah is much cuter. Hannah's colors are similiar and has already cost way more, but she's worth it. The one I posted a while back was of a Wheaten Cairn and it looked much more life like than this one. It amazes me that someone would pay that much for a stuffed dog, but I'm sure I amaze people that I pay so much for my live ones. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
SARpartner Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Her work is beautiful. But I sure can't justify the cost. Especially since it is highly likely that Dusty would want to play with Buddy. And I know better than to think I have any place in my home that is Cairn proof. Dusty just learned how to open the bifold doors to the kitchen. I guess not even the top of the fridge is safe now.
wags Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Bradl, At least I don't have to pay to send Wes to college!

Mama Kim Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I agree her work is amazing but those stuffed animals are so life like they freak me out a bit. Kim,mama to furbaby, Piper 4/13/2003 "Things that upset a terrier may pass virtually unnoticed by a Great Dane." ~ Smiley Blanton
Teri9672 Posted August 22, 2005 Author Posted August 22, 2005 price went up more today. I can just see me buying this and the girls eating it...............LOL
Guest mrskti Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I wonder if they come with "life like" poop too!!! I have a stuffed Winn Dixie dog, the girls bark at it!!
kayharley Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Oh Teri...that was exactly what I was thinking when I saw the $700+ price tag. Visions of it's poor little head minus it's stuffing that would be hanging out of Elliott's mouth!!
Eliz222 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I saw her other one too, and I agree that it was much more life like...and I think it was more expensive! Maybe it would look more life like if there were Helliots "chair" next to it....lol!
Tuff&Tippy Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Boy that little stuffed pup looks so real, I could never spend that much on a stuffed amimal, but I sure wish I could get something like that for my parents for X-mas, because my step dad fell in love with Tuff the first time he saw him, and that little guy would be the perfect dog for them. No Work. No Barking and no Pooping Tuff & Tippy
