Application #2 tonight. I'm not sure if I can continue doing this. Booker absolutely goes NUTS. He runs everywhere, bites the carpet, rolls over and over.

I hope I'm not applying it wrong...........jan

I don't have my puppy yet, but I use the cat frontline on my 2 cats, and one of them who is really placid hates it, she looks like she wants to bite me  ,.It's strange but ,because I can't see any skin reaction I don't know why she does it,it doesn't seem to hurt her she just doesn't like the feel?

I've used both Frontline and Advantix and happen to be using Advantix right now. I wait until bedtime to put it on and put them to bed. This works great for me. They're tired and go right to sleep and I don't have to worry about them playing w/ eachother and getting some in their mouth.

You may want to try putting a little water on your puppies back to get him use to taking the medicine.......just a thought. I would try using a dropper and putting a little water on Booker's back every day to get him use to it. I love Frontline Plus and it has really worked for my two. Good luck!

We've been using Frontline Plus on Tink with no problems. I always wonder if we are applying correctly, but haven't seen any fleas or ticks on her so I guess we are. It is so simple and that is why I question if we are doing it properly. And, when others say their dogs hate it and react to the application that makes me wonder as well. My understanding is to just spread the hair out and apply directly to the skin between the shoulder blades. Is that what you all are doing? Thanks for input.

That is what I do when I apply the Frontline. The first time that I used it Savannah kind of rolled around on the floor like she does after she gets a "bath" (water only) to dry off. After the first treatment, she doesn't seem to mind. I do have to put her on top of the dryer when I put it on to keep her from trying to run away! :D That is where I put her to brush her too. She doesn't like being brushed much but she doesn't try to jump off the dryer since it is so high off the ground. She just walks in circles. The top of the dryer has become my cheap grooming table!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.
