grillywarren
I was shopping online for the pup and I ran across the Snuggle Puppie. http://www.snuggleme.com/puppies.html Anyone tried these? I want the new pup to be happy, but I would rather not buy it if it doesn't work. Brad is this an appropriate question? I have absolutely no affliation with this product. bradl
No worries. If someone were using the forum to sell them, that'd be different. CAIRNTALK: Questions? Eliz222
That looks really neat! I'm afraid that mine would be a pile of "fluff" by morning time. Finch had a stuffed "snake" that the breeder gave us, and still today, it's all intact...so I guess you never know! I know that Scout would have it in a zillion pieces in 5 min...lol! I think it's worth a try...at the very least, it might give you a few nights sleep..and that's worth alot of money!
wags
Wes would have it unraveled in no time. I would worry about his getting at the batteries or heat pack. Although, thinking back, Wes didn't get destructive until he was a little older.
bubba
Those are awfully cute, and I think a puppy would love one. However, I think when the dog got older and hit his/her destructive stage, those batteries and heat packs would worry me in case of ingestion. pat. Teri9672
I bought a little toy dog for teona that had a little pack of rice or something you could pop intot he microwave. I think I used it 2-3 times. I now have it tucked away in a drawer. Her and Tabby both like to kill the stuffed animals.
maggie
I would worry about the batteries! I know Kai-lee would eventually get to them.
toomanypaws
Those are cute, but I just bought an inexpensive stuffed fleece animal at Wal-Mart for their crate. What's funny is, I've bought many more expensive stuffed animals that were shredded, yet the cheap Wal-Mart ones still remain. When my cairn girls were pups, I had this little machine that had the hearbeat sound, plus several other sounds like rain, night sounds, ocean waves and more. I was able to plug this in and put it on top of their crate where they couldn't mess w/ it. I just turned on their sound and they slept like babies. While my oldest loved the heartbeat sound, my two youngest loved the rain sound. I'm just glad no one liked the night sound of crickets chirping all night. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
Eliz222
Beth, that's a great idea! I have one of those machines...maybe I should use it when Finch gets upset over loud noises (or anyone putting on a new roof!).
Marmielin
What's funny is, I've bought many more expensive stuffed animals that were shredded, yet the cheap Wal-Mart ones still remain. I was just telling my dh this morning how amazing it is that Tink hasn't torn up her Easter Bunny, though everything else has been shredded within hours of purchase. The bunny isn't torn up and is her favorite possession. It still squeaks and she loves to bring it to me squeaking through the house. My dh thinks I need to find another just like it because it is so dirty, but I doubt she would accept a substitute. It is so cute to see her with her bunny. savannahsmom35
Savannah has a stufed sheep that I bought from Wal-MArt. It was the first toy that she had when we brought her home. It is still her favorite. I bought a replacement becuase her original is only barely hanging onto life. So far, she she won't accept the replacement. I keep both the old and the new one in her crate with her hoping that it will grow on her but no luck so far. She will get the new one every once in a while but only if she can't find the original. I wonder if it has something to do with the smell. The reason I say that is because Savannah has a blanket that she LOVES. I keep it out for her but it was starting to smell like doggie so I washed it. When I pulled it out of the dryer and layed it out for her she was SO mad at me!!!! She rolled on that blanket for I swear about 20 minutes trying to make it smell like her again!! To this day, if she sees me pick that blanket up off the floor she bites it and trys to pull it out of my hands! Doesn't look like Blankie will be washed very often! We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. -M.
