When we first got Mia I called her Mia Badilla (I'm not sure how you spell it actually, it is pronounced ba-dee-a -anyway it rhymes with Mia!). DH then started calling Brody, Brody Badilla (which of course makes no sense since it doesn't rhyme). After weeks of this, we eventually started referring to them collectively as "The Badillas." They also have a bunch of other names, Peach Pie, Brodster, Babycakes.

My dogs end up with the nickname "Boo", so I have what I call Six Degrees of Separation to Boo.

Grace is really a rascal so she has lots: Gracie, Grace-i-nator, devil child, Gracer, sweet girl, pupper, satan(my son nicknamed her that...) Gracie Woo.

Spike doesn't have quite as many: Spiker, Spikey, sweet boy, bruiser boy, pupper, baby boy.

We sometimes refer to the two together as monster babies, Cairn terrors, angel babies, and sweet puppers. Silly, I know, but it's amazing how they keep earning new names as time goes by! (And they're just 6 months...)
