Cairns2
I had mentioned in the headshots thread about posting pictures of our Cairns in patriotic attire. I posted Eric with his flag bandana and there were a couple other photos with a similar theme. So as we prepare for this weekend and over the weekend, let's post some photos of our little ones dressed to celebrate our nation's independence! savannahsmom35
Savannah's in her Patriotic Scarf: Opps! Sorry so big. Can some one give me some tips on resizing?? We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made. -M. Anna_525
Savannah's mom- My daughter taught me something yesterday - if you have the Paint program - click on the picture, then hit print screen and then paste on a new Paint document. You can resize from there and save as a jpg. I can't find any flag scarf or shirt at home! I'll print something here at work and then take a photo of Alfie later. Cairns2
Don't even think of reducing that photo of Savannah! From my desk I can reach over to give her a big smooch! What a sweetiepie! Great photos! What beautiful Cairns! Since I started this thread, I promise to post something this weekend once the rain stops and I can take some nice photos. Have a great holiday weekend everyone and safe traveling! Cynthia

kayharley
Just how did you all get such good pictures of your Cairns? I can't believe how long it took me to get the first shot.... from then on it was all downhill. ]
Cairns2
Wow! You could win a prize for that series of photos, kayharley! That first shot is a shoe-in for the month of July in a Cairn calendar! They are just adorable!
Brody'sMom
Kayharley, I agree with the post above, your pictures are great (as all of them are), I can't believe all three will sit like that. Thank goodness for digital cameras I took about 20 shots of Brody and Mia before I finally got the one I chose. Their little bandanas are not really big enough, I'm going to try to find something patriotic to place them on! Just for fun, here is a typical picture of my Cairns. Cairns2
Brody's Mom, thank you for submitting that picture! I took about 15 shots, some were so good too, then I realized there wasn't a media stick in the camera and had to start over, including rounding up the dogs again! I need a shower and a cold beer! Happy 4th everyone!
Kramersmom
Kayharley, What amazing photos! I love them. All the Cairns are so beautiful and sure so proud to be part of this wonderful country! Hugs to all of them! Rhonda,Kramer & Angel Missy "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog". "It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. Anna_525
What wonderful photos! Kayharley, I love how they started tugging at the scarf. Brody's mom I like your candid shot. I am embarrassed to say that I have no flag. Well, actually, the only flag we have is high up above the door, it's too high for me to get it for the picture taking. So here I simulated our national colors with 3 T-shirts, but Alfie wasn't interested in the picture taking at all. He saw something on the carpet...... MikeC
This pics are great! I only wish that mine would stand for wearing something other than his collar. My little Westie will let us dress him up, but then this is not a Westie forum. Mike
Eliz222
Oh, these pictures are sooooo cute and funny!!!! I'm sad to say that we don't have a single item in the houe (that I could muster up) that is red, white and blue! Sooooo I took a pillow from my DD's room, and grabbed some pillows from the family room and this is what I came up with: This is how they looked when I first put them on the pillow! I mean, how much more depressed can they look? LOL! Even when I said the word "cookie" only their ears went up! This was as good as it got, so I gave up! Happy 4th everyone! kayharley
Oh shoe....no matter what they were thinking, you still have the most precious Cairns and just so photogenic. Okay, so not everyone is excited about the 4th of July. Some seem to like Halloween or Christmas better.

toomanypaws
Well heck Hallswel, I was all ready to post some pics until I saw yours. I love that photo! That's definitely a winner! I guess I'll post mine, even tho they don't come close to your talent. Here's Kiara (right), Abbey (middle) & Hannah (left), who looks big because she has inched forward and is getting ready to jump. I thought this was kind of cute of my dd "reading" to my cairn girls. Notice little Hannah's eye peeking up as if she's really not interested in that book. One more of Abbey & Hannah checking out what my dd just read to them. That's as good as I can do for now, tomorrow's another day . . . <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
kayharley
OMG....the talent on this forum amazes me. Toomanypaws, I assume that is your daughter and she is beautiful. I though it only fitting to pay a comliment to the child first then the Cairns That is an awesome picture and I love that quilt/blanket. I try and collect Americana decor and that would look beautiful in my dining room. Hallswell, please tell me you do this professionally. How were you able to get him to keep that star on or could that be a graphic work of art? I can't tell...
hallswel
toomanypaws I love your pictures! Your crew are beautiful and thanks for the complement. My dogs and pictures are strickly a hobby as far the camera is concerened. I have always been very involved in Scouts, Band, Drama with my 3 boys ( so when they grew up then came the dogs. They laugh and say they have been replaced by the dogs. Now when Sugar gets here then I will probably try showing her. As long as its FUN I will keep doing it. I just like doing things. This weekend I made a cover for her crate my youngest son 23 who is out of school looking for a job said Pink? That will never due I don't think we have every had Pink in my house that any of my sons can remember. Here is the crate pic. Now here is the way it works Rebel is the boss he sleeps on top! Scully'sMom
Brody and Mia look like they're defending their country. They have that "I DARE you to step over here!" stance. Hallswel and Toomanypaws, I'm speechless. Those pictures are just tremendous.
