Brody'sMom Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 Thanks to a friendly post on this board, we discovered the Furminator. We ordered the tool from QVC and it seems to work well. We've tried a lot of different tools on Brody, but most of his coat is soft (his tail and down his spine has a harsh coat) and hand stripping is very stressful for him (and us). Anyway, we decided to go to an authorized Furminator groomer and get the whole process done. He looks great, the groomer really did a nice job, though he said that not a lot of coat came out. The groomer did some scissor work, but Brody still looks like a Cairn.
Eliz222 Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 I'd love to see a picture of Brody! How long did it take, and if I may ask, how much did it cost??
Brody'sMom Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Here is a picture of Brody after being furminated. I don't have a recent before picture. It was just under $40 and took about an hour.
