I can't tell them apart

It's almost comical but I'm having trouble sometimes telling Maddy apart from Elliott. I have to look at their TAILS!! They are no way related, Maddie is longer and taller but if I don't look at their specific features, they could almost be twins.

(Elliott is the one with the stringy coat because he just came out of the pool)

They do look like twins :) If you didn't know them and see them walking I would think there twins, very cute photo. There both adorable

I know what you are going thru...when we had two westies, the only way you could tell them apart alot of the time was by looking at their tails. When one was a puppy, hers had gotten stuck in the screen door so it had a permanent bend to it.

Makes me glad I never had people twins!!

pat.

Children don't care how much you know...they want to know how much you care.

They are just adorable - and I love the heiney up in the air. I love when they do that.

And my buddy Helliott - well, what can we say? I just see his name and chuckle.

Sometimes it's hard to tell Carolina apart from her sister Lindy. I can't tell you how many times, after picking my dog up from my parents, (who do doggy daycare for me when I work) I have taken another look at the dog in the car with me to make sure it's MY dog!

Great picture by the way! ...the dog days of summer...

"They're cousins; Identical cousins and you'll find; They laugh alike, they walk alike; At times they even talk alike -- You can lose your mind; When cousins are two of a kind."

Remember that from the Patty Duke Show? I'm an identical twin so people always sing that to my sister and I, but I never thought I'd be singing it to someone's Cairns!

You're showing your age, Bekah!

Unfortunately I remember that show well...it was one of my favorites.

I swear my next Cairn will be a dark one. Elliott's mother was a very dark brindle although his father was light....like father, like son I guess.

Awwww..cute picture!

I can tell my two apart, although their coloring is becoming closer and closer the same. Scout is alot taller than Finch, but everyone else gets them confused all the time.

ps. I ADORE their coat color!

They do look alike! That's a cute picture. It's funny because Kiara and Hannah are both dark and even tho there's a 6 lb difference, I have mistaken them a few times.

Wow Bekah! We just watched the Miracle Worker w/ Patty Duke (fantastic actress) the other night. We were telling our dd about The Patty Duke Show. Yes, I'm giving away my age and yes, dd is a late blessing.
