Tiki Bob visits the beach

Welp,

Time for the latest Tiki Bob update.

This past weekend we paid a suprise visit to my mom in Southern Oregon. Tiki Bob handled the 8+ hour each way trip much better than I expected, which was nice. While there we decided to head over to Brookings and take Tiki Bob to the beach since he hadn't been there yet. He seemed to enjoy himself. He was a bit unsure about this little stream that ran into the ocean that we wanted him to cross so we could keep walking down the beach. He made it about 3/4 of the way across, then got a bit concerned and walked backwards the whole way back to get out...silly dog...

Anyways, here are a couple pictures...a few more can be seen at www.tiki-bob.com.

Oh my how Tiki Bob has grown! He looks like he had a great time! Is it hard to clean the sand off a Cairn? We're taking the crew to the gulf coast of Florida in 10 days!

You know..it was the weirdest thing..i was getting ready to wash him off at the foot wash off thingy at the beach, and i took a closer look..and no sand on his fur at all.. a little under his hair on his nose and that was it.

I have no way to explain this...but i wasn't going to complain about it, that's for sure :P

What beautiful pictures. They look like they could be in a magazine!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

I love the name! How different. The pictures are adorable and yes there magazine quality :) I just went to his website. All the photos are just too cute but my favorite is the one where it says 3rd day at home and he is with the cat.

He is standing there and he looks like a little stuffed animal looking at the cat. That one was my favorite but there all so darn cute. Tiki Bob is one darn cute Cairn but again arent they all

Tiki Bob is one goodlooking cairn! I love his website and watching how he's grown. I've taken so many pictures that both Abbey and Hannah have their own CD. Kiara was before I had my digital so she has her own box of pics.

I know what you mean about the sand. We have a kiddie pool that our cairns love jumping in and running back through the yard. A good portion of our yard is "woodsy" w/ plenty of sandy little trails. I have to dip them in the pool before bringing them inside and I'm always amazed that only their belly and muzzle have sand on them.

Thanks for sharing!
