Baby Picture

Toto times 2

You may know from my posts that my boys are 9 and 10 years. I knew I had baby pictures for Ghillie but hadn't been able to find them. Success. Here he is in all his glory about 14 weeks.

What a cutie! He is in his "all ears" stage! They are so cute at this age!!!

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Very cute, I just love that puppy look. He has the same colorings as my oldest, Kiara did as a pup. Kiara might have had a little more red. I notice that he's still dark. Did he ever change in color? Kiara did lighten up after a yr and will be 4 next month and now she's getting darker again. Was Ghillie always dark?

Ghillie was quite reddish for a while and still has red streaks and a red moustache and even some light bits but at 9 he is mostly dark brindle colour. If he is in the shadows or under a bush you can look right past him.

When his coat is at its longest it is lighter and when it is shorter a bit of red shows up. His mother who I met was a very red blonde and his father apparently was almost black.

My Maggie is at this"big ear" stage. We wonder when she can take flight like the flying nun. Her ears are the cutest.

Debbie, Scout had really big ears when she was a puppy too. I can't tell you how many times I asked the vet, "do you think they are too big...are you sure she's a Cairn?". After her hair grew in, they seemed to fit her much better....lol!
