Greetings all,

Picked up a sweet 9 week old cairn/bichon cross girl a few days ago.

Her name is Esme.

I will post a pic once I manage to catch her not moving.

They really are different, aren't they.

She thinks she rules the world-at 9 weeks old.

But sweet and cuddly too.

I am having a slight issue with a collar-a teeny collar mind.

She is convinced that having a collar on is torture and makes her unable to walk. Even though she skitters around like a mad thing freaking out.

I am just going to hold out, she will eventually get used to it and forget. I am seeing the beginnings of that.

Baby steps

This will be a challenge. I have had lots of dogs, each breed having idiosyncrasies,  this little sweetheart will be specially hard.
