Here is information on Poster Pet Calendar Contest not much time so we need to get some Cairn pictures in

I think the easter picture of Kiara, Abigail and Hannah should go in

Thanks Liz, maybe I will enter a picture. Did you like the one of my cairn girls in their hats w/ the chicks or the one w/o them? You too should enter one. You take some of the greatest pictures and your two are so photogenic. I always look forward to your pics.

Just curious. :huh: The "rules" talk about prize guidelines, but I don't see any mention of what the prizes are. I assume it is just getting your pet's picture included in the calendar? They also ask what food you feed your pet, and the "contest" is sponsored by a dog food manufacturer. Does that mean they are going to consider whether you use their dog food as a deciding factor? And does the sponsor then have the rights to use your picture in their advertising without any additional payment?

When I read the entry form you do give them the rights to use your pictures. But I am not a lawyer.

You only win like a calendar, but as many calenders that will be given out..having a cairn in the group would be great. I just enjoy sharing my little furry bundle of fun.

Although I would love to see my toto in a calander, I wasn't impressed with what I read further down. It says "Photos become the property of PETCO.com which will have the right, without further consideration, to modify and/or use them in its catalog, website and in any other publication for promotional purposes. By entering, you agree to PETCO.com's use of your pet's name and likeness for promotional purposes in its TV, radio, website and any other publication for promotional purposes." Just thought I would give a heads up. - Darsey

I wondered about that too Darsey. I would love to see the boys in a calendar but that makes me hesitate.
